How did you discover MGTOW.com?

I don’t know if a post like this has been posted before or not, but I’d liked to hear how members discovered this website.

For me, I was heavily involved in the atheist community until feminism poisoned it with the Atheist+ crap.

I watched a lot of videos on Youtube about feminism and found Sandman. I watched him for a bit then I moved on to Turd Flinging Monkey.

After watching his videos I found this website.

I discovered Reddit in early December of 2015, and one day I was binging on a huge thread about Plenty of Fish dating horror stories, and the acronym “MGTOW” showed up in a comment.

I immediately Googled MGTOW and…BAZINGA!, here I am.

This topic came up many months ago shortly after I first got here, I will tell my story again for you all though-

I was playing World of Warcraft, and I was talking s~~~ about fat chicks in trade chat. Well, of course the SJW’s all came at me with fury. I came back and said “I will stop making fun of fat chicks when it becomes socially unacceptable to make fun of short men.” I went on to logically state that it is much worse to shame someone for something they cannot change than it is to shame someone for something they can change, as well as the fact that being fat is bad for your health. My logic rang true for those with half a brain, many guys chimed in and agreed, and one who had my back the whole way through the mess said I was MGTOW and that I should check out this site.
So here I am…

I discovered it by sandman, was bitter at the time because these women would not pay me the attention of day but yet pay attention to guys treating them like garbage. So I saw sandman on my YouTube recommendations and begun to watch his videos then moved on to other top MGTOW’s such as Spetsnaz and Turd Flinging Monkey. Discovering MGTOW, I searched online and found this site and lurked for half a year until taking the plunge and joining. Currently I post on the site and read other posts when I am not contending with other things and let me tell you…
before I found MGTOW well I was a f~~~ing mess.

It started with talking to a few guys I know, hanging out and stuff in a hybrid mancave / workshop. It was mostly a “purple pill” party and MGTOW was brought up.

Well, there was a lot of intense discussion on it, not really arguing, and the one who brought up MGTOW insisted that he was not the only MGTOW in the room and said I was the other.

I was shocked. I told him I ain’t no MGTOW, it sounded like MRA stuff to me.

He looked shocked and explained why he thought I was totally MGTOW.

I keep getting mixed up on if he mentioned MGTOW.COM in particular or if it came up while researching MGTOW, but I got curious.

Eventually, I posted an introduction here and that is that.

I discovered this site by accident while looking up Man Cave ideas and designs because I want a house full of manly toys and environment for my enjoyment for when I finally land a job and get my own place. The video is this one which is how I discovered MGTOW:

After that, I saw a few videos that the one video recommended to me, and after a night of watching men criticizing woman in a way I find truthful, I got curious to see if there was a site called MGTOW, and if there was, I looked to see if it had a forum. After noticing a forum section, I browsed around and found a lot of topics that I can contribute to. I joined because I have a lot of female problems within the family as well as human resources of all the jobs I apply for, and I want to tell a bunch of guys about it.

I’ve been a MGTOW member since October 2015, but I didn’t realize I was a MGTOW guy for many years before that. I guess it even goes back to the late 90s during my school years. Back then I hated being teased and laughed at all the time by everyone for absolutely no reason. What, because I’m autistic and its symptoms shows up when I’m around people?! I hate kids, they are just no good!

Started from my many hours listening and watching anti-Feminism content on YouTube from creators such as Sargon and InternetAristocrat which lead me to finding Reddit’s theredpill subreddit. Wasn’t too interested in the PUA game but was more intrigued by the many instances of AWALT. Eventually bumped into MGTOW from random discussions. Looked it up on youtube, found Sandman, Turd Flinging Monkey, Trevor Freeman. Found the site after all that.

Funny how it all links like some kind of awakening crescendo.

Used to love visiting Mr Niceguy’s site many many years ago (when it was a lone voice in the wilderness). Went back there some months ago and found he had moved on but others kept the site going and claimed (probably not all that accurately, or seriously) that from their efforts, MGTOW had been born.

‘MGTOW? What is this MGTOW?’ I said to myself.

A few clicks later and here I am. Found this place and never left 😛

For me, I was disappointed in relationships, and I felt like victim of a scam. And in that state, I was browsing the web for the reality hidden from me so far. First I came into a link “Banned books on women” including Esther Villar’s book, and many more. I also realized existence of a few local websites talking on the topics of men’s rights, and then AVFM, and some article on these sites linked to the “MGTOW” keyword. Then simple search.

So I came here via a lot of bypass roads. To be honest, one with a bunch of relationship problems and scammed by mainstream s~~~ does not easily find the truth.

I found mgtow.com with google. I had already been watching mgtow videos. It really all started with girlwriteswhat. Then she mentioned AFVM the s~~~hole place where I lasted less than a week. Then in 2014 I started watch sandman video which led me to start dusk.

About 12-13 years ago I decided to remain single for life. Friends and family kept giving me a hard time about how I should be dating and they ended up assuming that I’m homosexual. I was looking for a title for myself to help explain what I am to them.

I think it was a video from Sandman that lead me to the MGTOW philosophy. I haven’t told them I’m MGTOW yet but if they bring up relationships again, I now have an ace up my sleeve. I’m not going to tell anyone else though because I could potentially get arrested if the wrong people find out.
