Hmm, funnily enough the channel by that person got me curios about other videos that have been put on it and somewhere in there I actually happened to stumble upon “some bit of a jewel” piece, which is this one here (entitled “The Degeneracy of Modern Society”) and this is some serious stuff worth checking out:

The story actually is set in Russia apparently, from what I’ve learned in the comment section.

Ok, now when I described it as “some bit of a jewel” I mean: it is still biased towards the gynocentric society (the mgtow version of it I guess would rather have had two gender roles of the actors/actresses reversed: the one representing the present and the one representing the future, whereas the one representing the past, the old man I’d say is accurate) but anyway still the moving message “between the lines” is clear cut enough. Well, so much on the subject of hope for the future …

But don’t think that women weren’t like that in WW2 aswell.

When I was working at the hospital, one of the patients was a woman who was a teenager during WW2. She lived in London. I s~~~ you not, she said that ‘WW2 was the best time of her life’. She said that the city was full of ‘handsome American soldiers, who were always taking her out on dates and dances’.

I thought to myself, ‘f~~~, you were out partying with foreign troops, while your own men were dying in Japanese POW camps’. I will never forget that. And this is why, I get very emotional when I see this war propaganda. When you go to war, your women are not waiting for you.

Ofcourse this is war propaganda! It’s making the clear statement that this man went through hell and that he is worthy of respect for doing so. He’s clearly upset that the youngsters don’t care about him. This implies that they should care about him (otherwise, why get upset about it?). And why should they care about him? Because he went to war for them.

And then you see the little girl help him and it makes him happy to see that his fight was in fact worth it. It was worth it because there are still traditional, good, families in Russia.

Anything that implies that the character is deserving of respect, because he went to war, is war propaganda.

This follows the script to a tee. Old man is worthy of respect because he is a war veteran. This is standard war propaganda. In your case, it seems to have been very effective because you don’t seem to even see it.

I wasn’t arguing with you. That was just the segway into my little spiel.

The war stuff does get me pretty emotional and I find it hard to keep calm in the face of it. I just see war as the ultimate offense against men.
