I haven’t seen that film but will have to check it out. There have been numerous films since films began filming lol, that feature Time Travel. Some are blockbusters or fancy Indie one-offs… others are total flops.
Primer was a really great indie film, low budget which was excellent time travel film.
Timecrimes is also another good one, its in Spanish but well worth reading the subtitles.
There are MANY.

I hope I didn’t come across as some kind of know it all who was arguing with you. I was only expressing my opinion on a subject I find extremely interesting.

I think you would enjoy the Langoliers movie. It has some very good actors in it and it’s a Stephen King story, most of which I enjoy.

Yeah, even those old time travel movies were pretty good. “Time After Time” with Malcolm McDowell was a pretty good one. H.G. Wells chases Jack the Ripper to the future.

Time moves in one direction only, no matter what. If time travel were possible, you’d have to consider that going back in time would be more plausible than future travel simply because at least there might be “something left over” since we had experienced it before. Nonsense, yes, but it’s all nonsense.You can’t travel through time. You can’t move time. You can’t speed it up or slow it down, at least not really worth mentioning, as any observations of time dilation have been in the nanoseconds only. Our physical existence won’t allow it. As you know, I believe in a spiritual existence so if time travel is possible, it may be so on a spiritual plane.

Time dilation is misunderstood, I think because of television propaganda.

Time dilation is relative, not absolute. All these unscrupulous psuedo scientist con-artists out there stating that time goes faster or slower depending on your relative position are just trying to make a buck off the common man’s lack of understanding.

Think of Einstein on the bus traveling away from the clock tower.

When you accelerate, time behind you appears slower because the photons of light from the hands of the clock take longer to get to your eyes. Time is not “actually” slower, it just appears slower.

However, the missing piece of the puzzle which never gets told by these con-artists is that when you then decelerate, all the points of light that were traveling to you from the clock suddenly reach your eyes at once, making the hands of the clock behind you appear to go super fast, thereby “catching up” to time.

There is no spacetime. There is space. And there is time. And they are related, and light can bend through space, but space and time cannot sheer one another. Time can appear slower or faster by an observer’s acceleration or deceleration, but it is appearance only, which is why it’s called the theory of relativity, not the theory of absolutivity.
