I know that many you of gentlemen work in technical fields, and might have little interest in the liberal arts. Nevertheless, you might find this article as disturbing as I do.

There are links in the article to study by the American Association of Trustees and Alumni. They examined seventy-five American colleges and universities (25 each, liberal-arts colleges, national universities, and public universities). Just one-third require history majors to study American history. Among the universities that have no such requirement are Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Northwestern, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Many of these same universities also do not require English majors to study the works of William Shakespeare.
“Higher education” is nothing more than a massive fraud. This says less about students and more about how little the “intellectual” class cares for American history and culture.
Just show up and you’ll get your trophy.

I saw a article that said something like 40% of millennial college students believe that white Americans invented slavery.
