A not so interesting read, unless you can see the repeat of exact historic references.
In typical MSM fashion. and in complete and utter willful ignorance of the actual voters/citizenry desires. They write this type of drivel

    Headline:

The Western alliance is shattered: Angela Merkel urges Europeans to ‘take our destiny into our own hands’

Before you read it, I’m going to set the tone and issue a spoiler alert in the form of the 3rd sentence of this article.
    FTA
Merkel, Europe’s de facto leader, told a packed beer hall rally in Munich that the days when her continent could rely on others was “over to a certain extent. This is what I have experienced in the last few days.”
That sounds extremely familiar to me, and I know what this exact setting led to the last time it happened.

I do feel a bit sorry for the youngsters today. It’s not thier fault that they were brainwashed in education to take on a debt they can’t pay back. Thier parents should have had a word about cost benefit on any non STEM degrees as opposed to a Tradesman’s qualification.

They’re not all dumb SJW’s, some have sense, but they are starting out during the period that this FIAT Ponzi scheme is winding up. I always try to give sound advice on life choices if any ask me, but many really are too concerened with social standing (which is expensive).

I know why they need to have high status, they need to attract a mate. If only they knew it was all in vain.

So she can’t oversee or maintain order of her own people and country?

Then the c~~~ f~~~ed up and “the people” need to take the matter into their own hands and OUST the useless ineffective bitch into the street… and put a MAN in office instead.

Get rid of this one too.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I never would have dreamed I would state this in the course of my lifetime. ..but if Russia took all of Europe it would be a blessing to the Europeans.
They are heading down a road to self annihilation led by Merkel. .
Better that the Russians have it than to watch the rape and pillaging by the invaders. ..

Merkel f~~~ed up bad with her immigration stance. Letting all those people in unverified. I believe it was around one million refugees let in, and they lost track of half of them. She has to be an idiot to believe that if Europe got into a war, that we wouldn’t help them. Ummmm HELLO WORLD WAR 2 RING ANY BELLS????

But she is right tho, we won’t be of any assistance with anything in regards to globalism. She can kiss that good bye. She said Trump was the only person at the G7 summit to not stand in favor of climate change policies. Damn right he should.

Trump should do what Putin did when he met with Merkel a few years ago. Merkel has a huge and I mean HUGE phobia of dogs. She hates the damn things. So when Putin went to have his meeting with Merkel, he found the biggest dog in the country and brought it with him. The dog walked right over to where Merkel was sitting, laid his head in her lap, and then sat down beside her. Putin sitting down with a smug grin on his face the whole time.

At a beer hall in Munich? How prophetic. Is she going to start blaming the Jews next? No, I’d guess eventually she’ll blame the very immigrants she let flood into her country. Better yet, blame it on the Greeks and all those austerity measures that aren’t working.

Well… To be fair, about 95% of the time Jews when in countries not named Israel are all for unchecked immigration, when in Israel however it is quite the opposite.

And lol @ Putin with the dog, I missed that Venom. Look at the smirk on the sly bastard’s face!

it’s hard for an average Joe to make sense of history and learn lessons, because official history is a fairy tale. but average people don’t question anything they learn at school and just run with it – because it’s easy and familiar.
our only hope is continuation of uncensored Internet and enough people waking up to the truth to break the critical mass. but most people are conformist to the bone, so the history will keep repeating itself forever.

I really enjoyed Azimov’s novel (forgot the name) where there was a planet full of creatures repeating the history over and over again. And to make cycles go faster – ancient civilizations set up a vault of destructive weapons systems so all subsequent civilizations would have access to them from the beginning, to skip the arms development and arms race cycles.

That’s why i love history, I like to prove people wrong with facts and back up those facts with evidence. I love to tell people what really happened in history. Everybody should learn it because it shows you what to do and not to do in the future.

The stock market crash and great depression showed us that we shouldn’t buy stocks on margins(loans), and not be able to cover those loans.

President Johnson’s Great Society program showed us that welfare is a farce and shouldn’t have been implemented, at least not to the extent that it was.

History shows us that it wasn’t JFK who was sympathetic to what blacks were going through, but it was actually his brother Robert Kennedy who actually took steps to help blacks in the South, especially in regards to schools.

History shows us that even though America has a great military, many of the conflicts we face, especially in the last quarter century, have been of our own doing.

History shows us so much, and it’s all free. Everybody has a phone or computer by them nowadays. So much information that is right at our fingertips, and we choose not to act on it. Hell, we can go to a library and learn for free. I was thinking about getting some books about coding. When people finally decide to learn, maybe we can put a stop to the phrase “low information voters.”

if there is no civics requirements to be able to vote – the country will degrade to Idiocracy unfortunately.
why would an average bloke perfectly fine in his matrix decide to learn history? It’s not going to happen.

When you know better, you do better. Learning history forces people to hold themselves accountable. Because they can no longer say “they didn’t know”. The flip side of learning history is, your family and some friends may not like you anymore because of this new found information that you’ve went out and discovered.

It also doesn’t help when you have an army of likely paid shills to puppet “official narrative and history” all over the place from within the context of a single countries agenda.

Also the Asimov book you describe sounds familiar to the Foundation series in that history repeats itself, but it doesn’t seem to be in the same manner you speak of here as I think the third Foundation had a ruling Oligarchy put an end to history repeating itself.

The point being who’s history are you learning? The Russians and Libyans view on a matter will be a 180 when compared to U.S./Israel’s take on something…

If enough people say something enough times, people will believe that it is true. When you have a media that has no problems telling you any lie you want to hear, it makes it difficult to decipher fact from fiction.

The point being who’s history are you learning?

People have to learn to put emotion aside and look at all the facts surrounding a particular event. Look at both sides of the story and then come to your own conclusions. People need to be taught how to research and find facts, to back up their arguments and historical perspectives.

Learn everything, you’ll get pretty good at telling what’s bulls~~~ and what’s right fairly quickly. The details always give it away.

For example: The Washington Post ran a story that said Jared Kushner wanted to have a back channel to Russia after the campaign, but when you read the story, the author said that Kushner committed no crimes in doing so. The media grabs your attention with the headline and knows that you won’t pay attention to the minutia.

    Focus on the details.

Yeah, Foundation series. Details escape me.
When I was driving trucks interstate, I downloaded 50 best sci-fi books on audio and finished it in 20 weeks. It’s awesome driving truck and listening to choice books. It had the best Azimov’s novels. I read them all in high school before (in Russian), but forgot a lot of it. I’m a big fan of some serious social engineering sci-fi – Shekley, Lem, Azimov and the like. Deep stuff that makes you think and contemplate what if

Nice, I am a Sci-Fi freak too, reading freak in general. I have a MASSIVE collection of vintage DAW paperbacks with great art covers filling two large bookcases. I likely have everything most of the top guys ever wrote, I have read most of it as well. Arthur C. Clarke would be great to get into as well if you haven’t already.

I’ve read most of Clarke. I was addicted to sci-fi. Once the Soviet Union fell apart we started seeing lots of translations of classic books in markets. My dad would buy all sci-fi he could land his hands on, and my buddy from high school’s father had the same compulsion. We had 3 people boook club and we would trade and read books every night. I ended up reading lots of books before computers came around
Well, it started long before that, when I was addicted to classic adventure novels\
lots of sci fi is very red pill by the way
