“Clinton has laid out an agenda to close the wage gap.
Hillary has called for the passage of the Paycheck Fairness Act which she sponsored in the Senate. This bill would ban employers from discouraging their employees from talking about pay, narrow the definitions of what factors can be used by a company to justify pay disparities, and increase the penalties for companies that are found to have unequal pay.
She also called on CEOs and board members to look at whether they are paying people fairly. Last week, Clinton signalled she would require every company to analyze its own compensation and whether women are paid fairly.
The wage gap, Clinton said, “devalues the work that women do, from minimum wage workers to chief executives and even the best athletes in the world,””
Several businessmen commented that white males would have a harder time finding employment should Hillary be elected.

When I was young I could barely make a junior college sports team, If I were to play women in the same sport who were the best in the world, I would destroy them. I did, and I did, in fact do just that on a few occasions. Nobody want’s to pay to see women play sports, that is why they make less. If this act passes, Male porn stars should have a sound argument to make the same as their female counterparts based on the exact same illogic.
It’s children and their needs that cause rthe wage gap. Business only cares about profit. If women really were cheaper for the same work would any men have jobs?
Men – danger, overtime, travel, skills, no intrinsic meaning, responsibility, accountanilty, risk, no gaps in employment for childcare, no flexibility, etc.
Women – the opposite. In other words, they give up money for other things. Their choice, or necessity due to kids.
I could get a part time job at the petting zoo, but it would pay little.

You know, there’s a silver lining here. She can pass new acts all she wants. But we all know that the wage gap doesn’t exist because of sexism, it exists because men work longer hours, perform more overtime, and are given more labourious, physically demanding jobs that women refuse to do.
Which means that even if Hilary gets elected and this comes to fruition, it’s not going to make a particle of difference. Men everywhere will still be walking away with higher salaries, because they’ll be doing the same things that they’ve always done – being better workers.
If people need any further proof, try this one on: they recently discovered that men were earning more money even in companies that were run by women. If the “wage gap” was a patriarchal issue, then this wouldn’t be happening. But it was happening because nothing in those companies had changed apart from the management. And it will keep on happening whatever Hilary does.

Don’t worry. Men will take up their half of the 28 hours of combined back-breaking ‘housework’. Pushing Start on the washer, dryer, and washing machine and loading/unloading them, that is. This way the total ‘work’ will be balanced. Enjoy the 45 minute commutes while Real Men ™ do their half of the ‘housework’.

People make choices in life. My job requires I be on call, 24/7 to report in 30 min when a manufacturing facility goes down. Most people, and most women, wouldn’t want to do this. And so I get paid more. It sucks answering calls at 2am. Many women CHOOSE to go into teaching and other relatively low-paid occupations for a variety of reasons. One is, they can get back into the field more easily after having children. Women value a flexible schedule most, as its compatible with children; men value high pay (see above link). It’s called division of labor.
Instead of focusing on the so-called ‘wage gap’ I’d like to see our Fearless Great Leader Politicians/Masters focus on the ‘tax gap’ — the difference in what I pay in vs what I receive OUT as an individual. Therein, lies some real, serious injustice.
But, of course, this gap doesn’t exist, because, as a cis gendered white male, I cannot, by definition, be a victim of injustice, only a perpetrator. My only penance for such sins, is to vote for more Progressives according to the Statist philosophy. This way we can enact additional deficit spending, enlarge the public sector, and execute even more wealth transfer between segments of the population.

I’ve been in that seat. It f~~~ing sucks. You can’t really sleep. I would actually hallucinate my phone ringing in my sleep. Yes, I got paid significantly more to put up with that s~~~. The stupid f~~~s even called me three months after I was let go after my former employer got acquired. I laughed my ass off that Saturday afternoon when I saw them on my caller ID. They called me once wanting a freebie, but I quoted my hourly rate doubled. After that, I changed my cell phone number so the c~~~~~~~~~s could never get in touch with me again.
Meanwhile, the c~~~s were sleeping soundly. They were paid equally too except they got 12 week vacations whenever they squirted out a womb turd or never penalized whenever the little s~~~ had the sniffles forcing them to leave work 4 hours early or not come in at all.
