    Hidden Secrets of Money 7 : Velocity of Currency – The Weimar Republic

    Mike Maloney produced a series of excellent videos on currency – ‘The Hidden Secrets of Money’ Series. These are on Youtube and here [1]

    In Chapter 7 we look at how deflation and hyperinflation occur from currency velocity and printing using the Weimar Republic example between 1914 and 1923.

    This is the main reason Germany today still hates inflation and the experience has guided German politics and economic policy for the last 100 years.

    Our current situation is no different from the start of that financial instability. Exactly where we are is another matter.

    Good to see this, man! I’ve been a big fan of Mike for years starting with his book on gold and silver. Those videos are fantastic. Talk about eye-opening.
