So, I’ll start by just mentioning. I’m not really much of your traditional MGTOW. And I have a feeling I’ll catch some flak for this, but I will just say, listen to me and understand that I see MGTOW as it’s namesake.
Anyways. I’m a nineteen year old man- or young adult as some may say-, living in Canada. And when I say MGTOW, I mean not that I disregard women and tell myself to never get involved with women, but I know that I’m young and know that there are possibilities for me that are open, doors that haven’t closed yet and that I may have a foot in, that kind of thing. I respect a lot of you men on these forums for the s~~~ that you’ve worked your way through and those of you who now are standing on those heaping piles of s~~~ that were thrown at you and are flexing your muscles and telling the rest of the world to ‘f~~~ off’. Someday I might be like you, who knows. But I know for one thing that you guys have taught me a lot that I need to know about women to help myself avoid troublesome relationships and other issues that you have faced that now I will be able to more easily dodge.
And I thank you all for that. For your contribution to mankind specifically. Now, as regards to me going my own way, trust me when I say I’ve got plans. I’ve been telling myself that if I reach thirty, I expect to possibly look to get married then, if I am in a good relationship worth sticking to. But if not, then I’ve got other things to do. But from this year on, I plan to do what I want, when I want and how I want. Things like traveling to places that I want to go to, buying boats (sailboats) and A. Fixing them up, B. Sailing them, and more than likely selling them when I’m done and want to try a new boat. I also am a mechanic by trade, and will likely buy and sell cars whilst fixing up cars for money on the side and modifying my own cars for fun, things like that. (I’m a big fan of American muscle cars, dream cars a 70’s Chevelle SS.)
On top of all of this, I’m not going to let anyone or anything stop me from chasing my dreams. Most specifically, I’m never going to let a girl tell me what I can and can’t do, especially when it comes to something I want to do like sailing or traveling.
All in all, and what I’m hopeful for, is that you guys will accept that I have taken the red pill before, and for now am just taking half a red pill a day to keep myself alert, but leaving myself open to possibilities for myself. And I’m not saying that I disagree with what any of you are doing or what you think compared to me, but just that I’m choosing my own path. Anyways, I can give you guys my short story of why I chose to subscribe to MGTOW for the while that I did if I happen to stick around and/or get a positive response with this introduction.

Great hearing you sail and are going to get into restoring & selling. I’ve a Baveria 40 and absolutely love it. One day soon I’ll do the milk run in it. Enjoy your time here and input always needed.
