Hello,

I wanted to formally introduce myself to this forum and its members.
I’m goin a different route than my normal approach. Usually I prefer to lurk, in fact i’m a pro lurker, lurking the Internet since 1994. But with age comes wisdom and i have to admit, that after all these years of solo soul searching i’ve made far less progress than i would have if i had a group of trusted people to discuss my findings on love and life.

Although i have been living the MGTOW lifestyle since years, i was never able to identify why it felt so right for me. I just knew that i preferred my low maintenance lifestyle compared to all my freinds in marriages/LTR’s. Thanks to all the wonderful information found on r/mgtow, r/theredpill and countless mgtow youtube videos i finally figured out why this was working so well for me.

So why am I here?

The BluePill went deep, even without playing captain Save-a-hoe i used to spend far to much energy on doing the “right” thing, being respectful & honorable to people who didn’t deserve it in the first place.

Also I’m almost a “hermit” in my daily life and suffer from chronic depression. I dont go out often, dont spend my money on anything apart from absolute fundamentals and i normally dont allow myself any sort of trivial fun.

I dont live my life to the fullest, far from it… and since redpill/mgtow apart from the sexual aspect is all about bettering ones life, this is a major goal for my future: Living my life to the MAX, for myself.

I just have to figure out how.

Welcome.  There is no shame in living a low maintenance lifestyle.  If you do it for the right reasons simple living will allow you to see the bigger picture of reality and not all the trivial nonsense society likes to clutter our minds with. Enjoy the website.

Rejoice in the fact that you have been this way for so long. You have evaded the s~~~ that most men have had to endure to reach the conclusion of GTOW. People can call you a “hermit” but just knowing that you are happy with being with yourself is an accomplishment on it’s own. I am working to live life a little bit more myself but also look forward to the days of just spending more time with myself. I have been in a marriage for 3 years, and total of 8 with her, so time to myself will be nice!
