The reason many of us are plying you for information is that some newcomers are not really MGTOW and we’ve had problems with some of them trying to create trouble for us.
We would like to know your specific experiences with women and men that shaped your opinions and sparked your interest in MGTOW-related information.
Once we have an idea of where you are coming from, we are much more at ease and trusting of newcomers.

Basically, I just stumbled across a YouTube video by Raging Golden Eagle which introduced me to the acronym.
From there I did some research and found that the philosophy explained a lot of aspects of female and male nature that I’d noticed. From there I researched gynocentrcism which explained why there were so many double standards and why society prioritized women over males.

I couldn’t disprove MGTOW and nobody else I asked could, thus I adopted the philosophy.

My father died whilst I was rather young.
Got raised by my single mother after that, turned out pretty retarded (stupid, teen angst, typical stupid s~~~).
She remarried, my step-father basically made me reevaluate myself and I decided to try becoming his intellectual equal.
That lead me to develop a sense of identity as a man as I actually had some goal to work towards.

As for what MGTOW is, how I understand it is that there is the action and the philopshy.
Action: going your own way from marriage, gynocentricism, etc.
Philosophy: self-actualization and a new direction.

As for proving it, I was indoctrinated into religion from a young age. Thus I’m always questioning.
I took the claims of MGTOW, tried to disprove them.
After failing and confirming the existence of gynocentricism, checking divorce stats and laws I decided to become MGTOW.
Simple as that.

Beyond females in my family being rather manipulative and the occasional female classmate being a c~~~, not really.
I’ve seen mates get manipulated and cheated on, but for the most part I haven’t had any major issues.
After all, I’m not a trusting person. So I’ve never had any deep relationship with a female.
Heck, I still have trouble putting 100% faith in my best mate.

For the most part, my stance is that you can’t trust 99% of people.
Especially with money.

(long story short, several close relatives took advantage of my naive mother when she was grieving, if you can’t trust family you can’t trust anyone IMO).
