Greetings, gentlemen!

I discovered MGTOW and this website several weeks ago, but since I only turned 18 within the past two weeks, I wanted to wait until then to create my own profile. I have never really bothered with girls, as I was told from an early age that “girls take two things: time and money” and I had neither of those to spare. As I’ve read through this website, it has truly opened my eyes to just how bad it can be for men out there.
Although it can be hard for someone my age to avoid paying attention to women, I am committed to steering clear of them and focusing on improving my life and serving God (I am a Christian), and I am glad I found a community of men who can help encourage me in this.

Even though I’ve been blessed to have some decent women in my life, I’ve had enough encounters of the unpleasant sort so that whenever my young, hormone filled mind thinks “you should get her number”, I just flash back through all my past experiences, along with the stories I’ve read here, and go, “no thanks, I can still be content.”

It’s worth noting that just about anything you get in to (sports, reading, university studies, apprenticeship, women, etc.) will take some level of time & $$$ from you, it’s just a question of what the Return on Investment (ROI) is. Reading will hardly ever have a negative ROI, as it’ll almost always make you smarter. Women, on the other hand ….

As you guys know, though, it can be tricky to spread the word to people who want so badly to be happy with their girlfriends and their way of looking at things, but I’ve been working on dropping hints.
