Hello all. I’ve been on the “manosphere” off and on for a dozen or so years. After most of the old blogs closed down, I pretty much stopped but eventually was directed to the HB forums. I’ve been there for awhile now, and it’s a bit slow, but I had heard MGTOW was really picking up and so eventually found this site. I’ve been lurking for some months and I chose to register.

Good to see you guys, and let’s help keep each other free and strong.

No. When did he say he was?

The manosphere really started with anti-feminism blogs, a good 10+ years ago. Duncan Idaho’s Eternal Bachelor was probably the best one, any many others showed up afterwards, only to disappear over time. The forums really did not come until later. HB really seemed to be one of the first ones, but initially it seemed to be a lot of “white power” type and outright racism, and even worse they also would not ban women who would just derail topics on top of that.

That got cleaned up several years ago, and from what I can tell TRP started, as well as ROK and I believe Roosh and a few others. But nobody that claims to be a pioneer now was involved with the start of it back then, none of those people are around or if they are, they are hiding themselves.

RooshV claimed that he was the first one blogging in the manosphere and people have benefited off him. This isn’t really true considering Tom Leykis was spread this s~~~ way before him. He claims to be the father of the manospwhere which is laughable considering Dr Warren Farrell started in the 70’s and continues to this day.
