Recessions generally come on an average of 3 to 7 years every cycle. Officially, the last recession ended June 2009. Meaning we’re closing in on 9 years. Now while a longer cycle isn’t unheard of, if you look through the data it really doesn’t go much longer than this.

A recession will likely begin either next year or sometime the year after. But of course you can’t predict any of that. It’s usually from a black swan event.

RMBS and Madoff were the last big ones. Some people think SLABS will be the next one, but I don’t really think so. Honestly it’s probably going to be Bitcoin/cryptos.

Generally speaking the contraction period tends to be around a half year to a year and a half. If that happens, sure it’ll be rough, but it’s not actually all that terrible.

The problem is if it’s a truly major one. If we have a 4-5+ year contraction, that will probably force a change for the US and the world entirely. I do not think the world will be the same after that length of time.

Stock market bubble -now that is where the game is really at- will that go?? Its about due and I do not see actual productivity backing up the high prices, its just that artificial electronic money needs to be invested somewhere, problem is when all the money gets on one side of a trade it always ends the same way eventually.

Looks like an interesting year. We need things to go wrong for things to get better. The only way to shut a liberal up is to show them there really is no more money to spend and no more can be borrowed.

My Predictions:
1) Trump will order a preemptive strike on N Korea early in 2018 (non-nuclear)
2) Terehesa May will continue to be weak and sell us down the river with the EU. The 1922 committee will lead a serious revolt in the Conservative party
3) T.May will be gone from power by the end of the year.
4) An excuse will be found to send US troops into Iran.
5) The fake US & UK economies will both be in recession by the end of the year.
6) Britain walks away from negotiations (under a new leader).
7) Warbreaks out in Europe.
8) Police state and brutality and surveillance in UK & US continue to worsen.
9) Something in the UK triggers another 2011.
10) The scale of the unrest results in the army on the streets as well as our ever more militarised riot police.

Yes, gold will reach $1700.00 USD per troy ounce .. very possibly higher, .. even much higher.
The current price $1303.50 USD.
My own prediction/recommendation .. buy some physical gold now. It doesn’t have to be much .. like $150 would get you in the door. Don’t plan to sell or flip anytime soon. Gold is long term investment.
