A different perspective on hate.
Does he have a point?
You have to hate slavery, in order to desire freedom.

Anonymous42HATE IS GREAT! The one emotion you can rely on!
Indifference is more powerful.
Yes and no. Indifference is a neutral emotion that offers the power of inaction. The danger to indifference is that indifference lacks passion and drive. And this a person can become indifferent to everything, including their own death.
Hate is a powerful negative emotion that offers passion and drive. Hate can keep a person alive. But, the danger of hate is the it came become very destructive to all those around the person using hate to fuel their drive to live.
Compassion is a powerful positive emotion that is in some ways the opposite to hate. Compassion is about caring about those around the person. But, the danger is to care to much and open oneself up to be destroyed by those around whom take advantage of a compassionate person.
Mutineer, I believe the term you are looking for is not “hate” but “righteous fury” to injustice. Righteous fury is different than hate in that it is most direct and less destructive, except for the target of the fury.
Great points Faust. Righteous fury sounds about right. If you’re indifferent to female nature there’s a chance you could be suckered back in.

I was told years ago that the opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. I realised this was true when I stopped hating the Evil Ex and just got on with my life. She wasn’t in my head anymore as she was when I loved her. I can’t say I’m totally indifferent as I’d like to witness Karma kick her in the Ass, but does she still consume my emotional energy of any kind? No. Peace at last 🙂

You have to hate slavery, in order to desire freedom?
A good question to remember.
“Hate” is one of those silly overused words that has totally lost it’s meaning. Like “hunger”. When I was a kid , I would say “I’m HUNGRY” or “I’m STARVING” and a member of my family who survived WWII would correct me on that every single time…. telling me I had no idea what “hunger” and “starving” was, and that I should stop using that word.
Even when I had them over for dinner, I would ask “are you hungry?”.
They would say “Hungry? No. But I could eat something.”They would correct me every time.
It actually p~~~ed them off.• I “hate” mustard on a hot dog.
• I “hate” little kids on airplanes.
• I “hate” catching every red light on the way to work. It’s not even close to “hate” — even when you say it out loud with intense passion.
It doesn’t mean a goddam thing when people sling these words around like a frisbee. Even Hitlery used it in her f~~~ing stupid presidential campaign. “Love Trumps hate”. What the f~~~ does that even mean.
“Love” and “hate” in the same 3-word sentence. Stupid.
People frequently end phone calls with “love you!” , “love you!” , “love you!” , “love you!” , “love you!”…… like we’re all supposed get all warm and runny. Oh yeah, just look at all that “love” in America.
• “Love what you do” (for a JOB)
• “OMG I love these cookies”.
• “I love the mansplaining”.It’s all bulls~~~.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.I don’t think the term hate is meaningless just because it is often abused/used out of context. As long as some people understand it’s true meaning it continues to have value.

Great points Faust. Righteous fury sounds about right. If you’re indifferent to female nature there’s a chance you could be suckered back in.
Exactly.
As long as some people understand it’s true meaning it continues to have value.
OK. But nobody can tell anyone else what’s TRULY in someone else’s heart.
Some f~~~ing stupid city in England calls “cat calling” a “hate crime”. THat’s right. Slinging a compliment at a woman like “nice ass” is perceived as a “hate crime”.
Thats what’s I’m talking about. It’s all complete bulls~~~. And it has NO value.
If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.Righteous fury or righteous indignation sounds more appropriate. I almost never use “hate” in a sentence, since for me, hating something means being ready and willing to completly destroy or obliterate it from the face of the earth the first chance you get regardless of the consequences.
The answer is NO. “I could but I won’t”. Memini murum!
As the man said in the video, love and hate, two sides of the same coin. Two extremes in the human panoply of emotions and so, the ones most often abused.
I’m glad to say that hate has played a very tiny role in my life. I managed to remain an optimist even when the walls of my reality came crashing down with a resounding RED-PILL BITCH ALERT those years ago. But hate couldn’t help me and I knew it. Maybe because I tend to go to extremes and it would have been too ugly, even for me.Don't let them Blame, Shame or Tame you!
Give 'em NOTHING, not even an answer!
#GenderSegragationNow!I think we can reasonably deduct that when someone announces they “hate” Mustard or a certain TV show that they’re really talking about dislike.
We need to differentiate between the accidental misuse of language and the deliberate misappropriation of terms for political reasons.
Either way, i refuse to accept that the English language is now bulls~~~ because some people abuse it.
It would be like saying driving is bulls~~~ and discouraging it’s use because of bad drivers.
We need to stop kowtowing to the lowest common denominator.
"The secret to happiness is freedom... And the secret to freedom is courage." - Thucydides
Either way, i refuse to accept that the English language is now bulls~~~ because some people abuse it.
The English language is not bulls~~~ because some people misuse it. The words exist for a reason and we can all agree on that.
But let’s put it another way…..
Would you say you “love” god / your mother / father / parents / kid / dog?
Yes?
….ok….
Now prove it.
Hate works the same way. “I f~~~ing HATE little kids on airplanes!”.
Now prove that I hate kids.If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.I thought one of the core tenants of MGTOW was not having to prove yourself to anyone else?
To someone with hundreds of facebook friends the term friendship may not mean a lot. To someone with a few close friends that have stood by him for 20+ years it may mean a whole damn lot.
If we are to only use words where there is universal agreement on what is meant; there won’t be many words left. I doubt that would be much of a hardship to the t~~~ter generation.

You have to hate slavery, in order to desire freedom.
Isn’t love of freedom sufficient on its own?
Hate can make someone very powerful–but in the end it can create nothing but more hate. It is destructive and ultimately self destructive—the Bible tells us this. Nor is it hatred to desire justice. I may not hate Jodi Arras but I can hate her actions, and desire to see justice done (her introduced to a short rope and a tall tree) again all without hating.
In the end is hate God’s plan for mankind? The only thing we are permitted to hate is sin. And I agree its hard to do–I struggle with hating groups like ISIS, rapists, murderers etc. So in that respect it is hard not to hate. But if one gives into to it–you end up with a Third Reich, or a Maoist cultural revolution.
Isn’t love of freedom sufficient on its own?
Not if you’ve never experienced freedom. If all you’ve known is serfdom then you need to hate it before you can be set free.
The rest of your post was over my head because i don’t believe in the supernatural.

Does he have a point?
I see it this way. There are two main philosophical routes for dealing with emotions:
The contemplative/meditative path:
–You believe that avoiding drama, pain, guilt, anxiety, and fear as far as possible is the key to the happy life.
–Positives: You lead a mellow life on an even keel, without a lot of upsets and discomforts.
–Negatives: You’re not a risk-taker, and you may miss out on opportunities for great adventures, great experiences, and great accomplishments. The ecstatic path:
–You believe that struggle, outrage, drama, and conflict bring out the best in people.
–Positives: You experience the highest highs and the lowest lows. You take risks and accomplish great things and/or experience great failures.
–Negatives: The constant drama and adrenaline in your life can lead to burn-out and failure. You may turn into a histrionic outrage- or adrenaline-junkie, constantly in search of new windmills to tilt at.Naturally, in real life emotions don’t exhibit such a binary split. In real life there are lots of gray areas. In real life, the emotions are more like the following diagram, with the contemplative/meditative path being the outer ring and the ecstatic path being the center ring: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Plutchik#/media/File:Plutchik-wheel.svg
As for the video in the OP, I would say that the narrator is arguing in favor of the ecstatic path. He is saying that you need to burn bright if you really want to live.
My own personal opinion:
I would say that the contemplative/meditative path is more typical of conservatives, in other words, an emphasis on principles and long-term outlooks. Whereas the ecstatic path is more typical of liberals and SJWs, in other words, outrage and high emotions: Liberals say, “We didn’t like the outcome of the election, so we’ll go out and riot.”
Naturally, conservatives can feel strong emotions too. Anyone can get goaded to the limit and decide it’s time to hoist the pirate flag and start slitting people’s throats.
But as a philosophical outlook, I think an emphasis on strong emotions is more the realm of liberals.
Just my opinion, of course.
You have to hate slavery, in order to desire freedom.
Sure, but the argument over slavery split the nation and caused a devastating war. Should we do the same for abortion, religious differences, political differences, differences of opinion on drugs, climate control, fossil fuels, gun control, the Confederate flag, immigration, hate speech, etc., etc., etc.
Sooner or later people need to learn to deal with controversy without going to war over it.
Hate takes energy and focus AWAY from the mind and focuses it on an external person, place, and/or thing. Indifference is basically No F~~~s Given (NFG). NFG frees the mind and your energy and allows both to be focused towards self-interest.
Hatred can truly be self-destructive. This can’t be said about No F~~~s Given.

The rest of your post was over my head because i don’t believe in the supernatural.
I was an atheist for decades so I understand—its a clean neat world; and orderly world where everything, all issues can be reduced to either a question of math or biology…you’re in for a big surprise one day…I hope it will be a pleasant one.
Hate consumes those that hold it .
But it is a human emotion that you deal with.
I hate family court c~~~s . But i deal with it. Lmfo
