Metal and Rock music are really one of the few genres of music nowadays that does not f~~~ing suck because Hollywood and the Mainstream media refuse to touch them because these guys actually have F~~~ING TALENT?

I mean the only time the mainstream media covers rock/metal musicians is when they have died.

In 2015, I didn’t see Fox News or any mainstream media outlet talking about Lemmy’s Death. It wasn’t until someone would look on Loudwire or other specific source that they would find that information.

In my opinion I feel the reason why Hollywood picks up Pop and Rap artists is because you don’t have to have any f~~~ing talent. With Rock and Metal Music, if you want to be good, you have to start playing an instrument at a young age.

Also a lot of Rock and Metal Songs expose the media for the Crock of s~~~ it is as well as the corruption of the government.

Some examples include: The Vengeful One by Disturbed (Talks about how the media brainwashes people to believe everything that they hear)

Legion of Monsters by Disturbed (Talks about how when there is a tragedy such as a shooting, the media Focuses almost exclusively on the killer and how by doing so they encourage more people to do similar acts just so they can be on TV or in the papers while paying no attention to the victims.)

The Stage by Avenged Sevenfold (Talks about how despite the attrocities of the past, world leaders continue to push towards violence and manipulate society from the shadows and humanity is essentially destroying itself)

Wrong Side of Heaven by Five Finger Death Punch (Talks about PTSD and how our veterans are treated like absolute f~~~ing trash. They literally put their lives at risk just so we can have freedom and when they come home, We barely even help them. In the music video, it even gives statistics regarding the veterans. They give everything and society does not appreciate them)

What makes Rock and Metal groups good is they don’t focus their songs on one specific topic unless it is a conceptual album.

Five Finger Death Punch’s songs range from a variety of serious topics from PSTD (Wrong Side of Heaven) to f~~~ing Child Abuse (Remember Everything).

These bands don’t do it for the money or fame. They do it because it’s their passion and by doing what they love, they make good quality songs. A lot of these bands actually keep in touch with their fans.

Ian Gillan of Deep Purple and Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath formed WhoCares which is a supergroup for Charity. You have Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden and Metallica. They literally formed it originally to support people in Armenia who were still suffering from the aftermath of an earthquake that happened in 1988!

I also notice metal, industrial, and hard rock bands are the only ones who make red pill or at least non-blue pill music. Pop is completely blue pill, country is the worst blue pill s~~~ on earth. It’s hard to find songs by men, that aren’t about women, and portraying men as pathetic suckers.

Many artists are sickened by what is going on in our world nowadays, I know I am, and they convey that in their art. I use my art as a therapy. It makes me forget what kind of hell they turned this world into, if only for the time it takes to turn a large blank sheet of paper into a cool poster, usually an afternoon.

Powerwolf’s songs about vampires, werewolves, supernatural creatures, and dark religious themes.

The thing with Rock and Metal is that the artists get really creative. I mean Alestorm’s songs are about pirates.
