Wanted to wish All a Happy Memorial Day!
For those not familiar; it is a time in the USA to remember those who have fallen and support those wounded and who are serving now.
    God Bless them all

Imma gonna go down to a local cemetery where some WW1 vets are buried.
Plant a small flag give thanks and pay my respect.

Got a lot of stuff outside to do so I will have an appetite by dinner.
Got this to cook on the grill……. with a nice salad of course!

    Ribeye for dinner

Marry again, Hell NO ! ( Even JESUS was hung on a cross just once)

    oourah! POW MIA

I took a 4 mile run thru Dallas with an American flag on a pole to pay my respects to those who gave all.

I like to remember the men who died in prison camps, death marches, French beaches and a palm groves in Iraq.

I know not everyone here is super patriotic but many of our boys signed up for adventure and a sense of liberty. They died for that, not necessarily all the political crap. Also, many men got drafted, called upon to stand up to tyranny. They died so we didnt have to. Gotta respect them.

    Happy Memorial Day to everybody.

I remember Memorial Day when I was a kid.

In the town that I grew up in there was a parade with all the vets marching, and it would end at the local American Legion where drinks were flowing for the adults and there were sodas for the kids and plenty of hot dogs and hamburgers for one and all.

Yeah, that AMERICA was a Great Place…..They might still have a parade today, but I think THAT AMERICAN FEELING is GONE FOREVER…..MY AMERICA AND JOHNNY ARE GONE FOREVER…
