I know that if I don’t feel any sort of pain, then it means my muscles are not rebuilding, so I don’t lower the weights, yet sometimes the workout makes me weak for the entire day with pains.

Any tricks on that guys, I can’t take an after noon nap, like someone suggested, and I can’t stand those muscle lotions.

Are you taking BCAAs? They reduce delayed muscle soreness. Taurine and Curcumin do the same.

Part of training is to let your muscles recover…Take a day or two off each week to heal your muscles…And dont do the same exercise each day…Target a different muscle group each day so the previous muscles exercised the day before can heal torn muscles and make them stronger…

This was the advise given by a local champion bodybuilder
    friend of mine…

Eat a good diet. I notice when I’m working out if my diet isn’t right… my recovery is worse.

I also take supplements. Capsules with dehydrated fruits and vegetables and vineyard produce… all of the omega fatty acids… and vitamin D.

Don’t forget protein. Skip the protein shakes and just eat real meat.

Pain during the exercise or after ? Because you can have hypertrophy and increase of strength without feeling pain after the workout (the next day for example).

yet sometimes the workout makes me weak for the entire day with pains

Go to a doctor and have yourself checked, blood and everything. I workout just to feel like trash after it, it calms me down to a level, that any problem is just nothing. Improper exercise execution or some condition may be causing it, check with your doctor, and check if your execution is right, sometimes the weight make our brain confused and it get in the desperation mode, where it tries to put other muscles to help us to lift it, muscles that shouldn’t be working at that moment for that function.

Any tricks on that guys, I can’t take an after noon nap, like someone suggested, and I can’t stand those muscle lotions.

If you are feeling pain, it means something is really wrong, pain is an indicator of something, find out that something.

    Start taking cold showers.

    Benefits:

    # Brown fat activation – uses calories (ATP) to generate heat.
    # Muscle recovery – pro athletes use ice bath to help recover faster, you can too

It is a bit getting used to especially if you live in icy cold climate like I do. But I feel my b~~~~ gain a millimole of atomic weight (Ballanium, in case you were wondering) each time I jump out of a cold shower.

A hot Espom salt bath before bed will do wonders for you.

I lift every other day, alternating between an “A” and a “B” workout, so I’m doing a particular lift only every 4th day and providing sufficient recovery time.

If you’re working out the point where you’re feeling the muscle pains while at the gym, you’re working out to hard and too much, because those pains are suppose to come later.
