In an analysis published last month, National Priorities estimated that 23.8 cents of every dollar in taxes paid in 2017 went to Pentagon and military spending.
“Meanwhile, 11 cents goes to military contractors, including 1.7 cents for the Pentagon’s biggest contractor and maker of the F-35 jet fighter, Lockheed Martin,” the group found.

It’s been that way for decades. It’s hard to see it as a problem, since we’ve remained the most dominant world power so far.
It will all crumble some day. Hopefully I’ll be dead before that.
"I've been thinking about what it would be like if we got back together."
"You know it's too late for that."
Anonymous7I don’t see the problem.
I do see a problem with lazy ass bitchs sucking at the communal titty.I don’t see the problem.
No offense Grue but if you don’t see the problem then you are part of it.

That is why if i win the lottery i am out!, can’t stand my money being taxed on the regular for lazy bitchy c~~~s and bombs that are freely dropped in the middle east.
The whole idea does not appeal to my moral sense as a human, can’t stand c~~~ licking manginas either, weak men got us into this problem and the strong men being broken by society or just idly standing by to be put at the chopping block of feminism does not give me much encouragement.
I rather do the same just like many others did and that is to opt out of the system for as long as you can, and get out when i DO have a chance to, permanently.
And all of that spending is:
The cost of maintaining an insurance policy against foreign aggression.
Small price to pay.
And as a result, also – The US is indirectly able to maintain a significant international role in commerce. Which benefits US companies and ultimately shareholders of those companies (it’s called the stock market) and US wealth. Now that wealth might not be ‘distributed’ the way everyone would like but that is another issue for another day.
And – Global military dominance by the US keeps oil prices in the US low. Which if they were to climb higher, would devastate the US economy, which I will say is artificially supported by multiple factors including a strong military.
In closing. The US economy is based on loose credit and fiat money.
Fiat money holds it’s value based on the military strength aka the barrel of a gun that is pointed at the world.

Anonymous14I do see a problem with lazy ass bitchs sucking at the communal titty.
Like Israel? They are sucking on the tit of the U.S. so hard it is about to fall off.
You pick and choose “Right Wingers” are no different whatsoever than Lefties, you guys just justify spending other people’s money on different things.
This spending has a lot to do with keeping those around them down that they want down.
And as far as what Sky-O talks about… well, it does hold some truth, but fact of the matter is I am guessing the U.S. would be far better off spending most of that money on something else other than creating enemies in the interest of other countries. We could be building up countries and then doing business with them instead of destroying those that Israel want’s destroyed. Also, there is no foreign aggression, so not so sure what he is talking about there, we are clearly the eternal aggressors. Then to square up to what he speaks of one would have to be cool with eternal killing for a better economy/cheaper oil/propping up FIAT money, I for one am not cool with my money being spent on such endeavors.
Some people are more at ease being eternally fleeced Cucks than others I suppose…

No, that is incorrect. The USA is strategically positioned that no foreign power could every get aggressive with us. The War of 1812 was the last time any one tried. You notice that the Japanese did not try and invade California during WWII. They knew full well such an attempt would be a dismal failure.
The truth is that the USA is trying to imitate the British Empire and the Roman Empire before that. We could just as easily be an Isolationist country and still be an economic power house. Invading all these countries on the other side of the world does not help the USA in the long run. It is actually creating “Blow Back” and now we have real enemies with a very real axe to grind with us and our foreign policy. This Policy only benefits a small group of Corporate Elitists and as THX has pointed out they all have something in common.

1. Both you and National Priorities need to learn the difference between the discretionary and non-discretionary budgets.
2. You would not believe how many non-military domestic expenditures are paid for under the military budget. For reasons.
3. The military actually is one of the responsibilities of the federal government, as established in the constitution, so military expenditures are constitutionally justified. Welfare? Most of those other slices of the pie up there? No. Not at all.

Ha, if this country still obeyed Constitutional Law in regards to Military and War Obama and Trump would both have been impeached for waging war without Congressional approval… The Constitution is basically D.C. toilet paper now.
Our founding fathers wanted none of this s~~~, yet here we are, complete with dudes like you trying to justify half of the bulls~~~ they tried to make sure would never happen.
Left/Right means nothing, either you are for spending other people’s money to further your goals/special interests, or you are not, doesn’t really matter what it is, don’t matter to me, it is theft of my money to be used for your bulls~~~.
Ha, if this country still obeyed Constitutional Law
Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t.
complete with dudes like you
*sigh*
I suppose it’s only a matter of time before we get another rant about “da jooz” in this thread too.

Hard to stay on point when you are getting your ass kicked huh?
Take the Pete route, make it about something else…anything to avoid addressing the points I make… You have been engaging with me in the same predictable manner for over two years now Sidecar…
The US military budget for FY 2019 is USD$691 billion. This is about USD $2200 for every (legal) entity in the USA.
Americans will pay for this full cost whether through tax, loans, interest, inflation or other means. Either upfront now or as debt in arrears which is part of the $64 trillion public and non-public (such as pension fund and student loan) debt owed by the Federal government.
That works out to be about USD $200 000 of debt for every man woman and child in the USA.
Hard to stay on point when you are getting your ass kicked huh?
Seriously?
Why can’t you ever figure out that this is not /pol/?

Seriously.
You are the dude who once said you kicked my ass in a 9/11 thread the year before… You got laughed right out of that thread…
Care to get back on point? Your drag s~~~ down into the mud strategy has gotten tiresome.
Feel free to get back on track at anytime by addressing anything I have said.

Yes, and all the apologists for this insanity will claim that we Americans would be speaking Japanese, German, Russian, or in this case Arabic…if it weren’t for our Military keeping us safe from those big bad foreign aggressors. Lol.
Hehe, I should add that those big bad Foreign Aggressors are a small fraction of the size of the USA and also have a small fraction of the Natural Resources we do here.
You are the dude who once said you kicked my ass in a 9/11 thread the year before…
If I recall correctly, I merely pointed out that your understand of metallurgy and civil engineering are extremely lacking.
To which your response was yet another instance of: “Nu uh. I win. For reasons.”
Again, take it to /pol/.

Bulls~~~, that is not how it went down at all, you claimed victory the previous year in what was then the current 9/11 thread and left, that was about it.
Once again, get back on track at anytime.

The Military Industrial Complex, The Federal Reserve and Wall Street are the three main arms of the 1% who own America.
The common American is a serf living on debt to finance these untouchables and has been so for the last 100 years. Nothing more. The illusion of freedom in America is absolute.
