    I love the intro song .

    Its amazing how many young people are retro watchers . I think alot of old shows like these are going to have a second wind .

    My dad was watching love thy nieghbor the other day . They wouldn’t air that on tv today .

    I was in high school when this aired and remember this show quite well. Always reminded me of a Hamms Beer commercial (from the same time period) that showed a dude palling around with a Grizzly Bear and in my youthful naivete thought how cool it would be to have a bear for a pet. As far as the show being blue pill, yep, this was at a time when hippie culture and philosophy still influenced television.

    @blade Yeah, a lot of these old shows are making a comeback and IMO many of them are way better than the crap that passes for television today. Some of my faves from the 70’s was ‘The Night Stalker’ and ‘Good Times’, and my absolute fave – Kung-Fu.
