Just got back from meeting mgtow wave. Cool dude who picked me up and showed me round Orlando. Had to get a burner phone as my POS don’t cal US numbers. We saw some local wildlife and had a laugh at the state of them. Maybe joining us on Pete’s Hoedown? I need sleep now as been awake far to long today. Hope MWave posts to share his impressions.
And I had no clue how hot n’ humid it could be here. Hopefully my driving will improve as I’m not used to LH Drive cars.

Welcome to sinister land of losers and murderers and loud-mouthed criers.

You’ll likely find its close to the same. Stay cool.

Look Left, Right, Left and proceed with caution. Glad you made it!

Welcome to America, as they say in the movies. How long do you plan to stay in the land of the ‘free’? You’ll find there’s not much here that’s free, but don’t think that Floridians have a southern accent. I’ve heard that most of those people are retirees from New Jersey and New York. When you get to a place where the locals call you y’all, then you’ll know you’re among true southerners. I hope we can hook up while you’re here.

Be careful crossing the streets! I had a friend who almost got killed crossing a street in London. We were making our way back from a pub and got to a crosswalk and stopped. He looked to his right and saw it was clear and to my horror he started across. A car was barreling through coming from the left and I yelled “Run, Troy, run!” (we had crossed the main road from right to left, and had to stop at a one lane access road, in the US traffic would have been coming from our right.)

Luckily he listened and immediately ran and just barely mussed getting plowed over.

Anyway be careful about road crossings.

Have fun! If you get a chance, got to Daytona Beach and head down to Ponce Inlet for some surfing!

    Floridians have a southern accent.

Northern Florida and the panhandle parts are very much Southern. My city has a different Southern accent with plenty of New Jersey and New York refugees too who are good folks also. We speak quickly with no drawl. The country folks call us Yankees. I sound very Southern in New Jersey.
