Good News: South Korea Government and North Korea Government open Liaison Office on their shared border.

Contrary to what the title of the linked article states, this is good news.

Anyone hoping for peace in that region would welcome this liaison office opening.

President Trump started the ball rolling, with South Korea picking up the ball and speeding the peace talks with North Korea. This is what many people were hoping would happen.

The U.S. State Department is using the excuse of denuclearization of North Korea to attempt to slow down peace talks to be on their time table.

While I trust President Trump, I do not trust the U.S. State Department as a whole. The U.S. State Department has a history of making things worse around the world for their own internal reasons. Even after two changes of leadership and a house cleaning, there are still individuals in the U.S. State Department whom for various reasons would like to stall these peace talks so the negotiations would fail,

The fact both the South Korea and North Korea governments are ignoring the U.S. State Department and they are pushing through peace talks at a faster rate shows that progress in some sort of formal peace treaty could be seen in a few years.

This is good. Railroad can also be used to transport resources and goods.

If a treaty is agree upon, such a rail way to transport resources from North Korea to South Korean factories, while South Korea goods can ship into North Korea.

Also, this shows that the Russian government is working behind the scenes and is supporting some sort of peace efforts.

Trump accomplished something that no other President has done. He ended the Korean War…and he made it look easy.

Where is his Nobel Peace Prize? Obama got one, while signing off on Predator Drone strikes that targeted Weddings and Funerals. Trump ends a 60+ year War that could have gone Nuclear…and they call for his impeachment.
