Quite a few years ago I dated/partnered a GF who had every Friday off work – she had a 4 day week. It was as regular as clock work each week, the long SMS messages bitching and whingeing about how awful her life was every Thursday night or Friday morning.. At that time I was trying to WORK. Friday my busiest day each week. I finally realised – she was only lamenting her own life and all the negative vibe for one reason – TOO MUCH TIME ON HER HANDS… The rest of the week, while she was busy, there were no problems. Fridays, she had time on her hands with no particular problems to solve, within a reasonably comfortable middleclass lifestyle. Yeah, eventually I got around to ditching her. Kept her longer than I should have, because of her past-the-larynx-deep-throat skills. Hey – we all have weaknesses 😉
