I can’t even talk a price point, as no matter if I buy 20 Euro or 60 Euro headphones, the wire gets rekt in about 2 years anyhow.

My only solution I think about is having first headphones for going out AND second for my PC night’s.

My first ones I realy enjoyed getting (not counting all the logitech crap before) were Steelseries 3H I believe, for 40 euros. Loved them.

2 years, wire near the ear cup went off. Then I went with a cheaper option of 20 euros on TDK’s. And now the wire near the Jack end started to f~~~ around as Im writing right now.

I mean, I can afford 100+ euros Sony, Beats or Philips (which I hate for electronic music, great for rock/metal when I checked) but I don’t feel like spending so much cash because:

    1. Wires. and wireless are a hassle aswell.

    2. Wouldn’t want to get robbed or showoff wealth for no reason. It’s not a menacing problem, but still, I like to be cautious.

    3. Can’t decide if I should go for Every day single headshet, or 2 different – 1 for street, 1 for home.

    4. I game (FPS) a lot, I listen to electronic, metal, rock music daily. I travel and listen to music on the go.

    5. Because I travel, medium size headphones are my fav. go-to.

Now, there is Steelseries 3H2 out, and man, I don’t know. 3H were so good for my ears, just perfectly fit me and sounded great no matter the genre I listened to imho.

Would appreciate any advice you music/game/movie lovers can give me.

    Evening Metal,

For the computer I’ve been using a Creative HS-1200 for years, comfortable, good quality audio and can be used wired or wireless. I’ve had a look and it seems they’re being phased out but well worth it if you can find a set.

For on the move I have a Sony NWZ-W273S Sports Walkman/headphones, you can’t get much smaller than two earpods and a wire and for what they are they’re pretty damned good, They’ve travelled the world with me over the last 2 years and I’ve had no problem with them.

    Good hunting.

Hi mate, yeh nice options there.

I had many small headphones, (samsung, nokia phone ones, sony) nice for a run. But I can’t enjoy them all day long, doesn’t feel comfortable for me.

I like medium ones, kept my ears warm in winter, and I didn’t need to wear a hat haha. Or after shower aswell, If I need to go asap. Was awesome.

Think in the end, I will have to get headphones for every occasion – small for training, medium for every day carry, and medium-big for home/pc.

    Creative HS-1200 seems nice btw.

Use shure 215 Earbuds for mobile activities.

For rides & long flights I use Bose 25 headphones. one of the best in noise cancellation! Can even hear vacuums or engine noises. Just a small hum.

Quick Update:  I went with Pioneers. Just got them today, happy and blasting them all night. Two of them, for Home and for Outside.  SE-M531 and SE-MJ522-K, got them with discount, so Im even more happy.

    Thank you all for responses
