I used to work for a delivery company. I was making a delivery to a trashy bar in the area one day…it was notorious for gang members and local trash hanging around there. The cops were constantly raiding the place and arresting people because they’d always find drugs and weapons in there, they had a handful of stabbings there(that got reported) every year, and after the second time in a 1 year period they had a shootout in the parking lot, the town finally just closed them down.

I was a little scared to go in there having known what kind of place it was, and it was the only bar I’ve ever been in that you had to walk through a giant metal detector at the front door to get in, but luckily it was mid day and nobody was in there yet as it only really had a crowd at night time. The bar tender was this blond chick that was probably about 25, and you could tell like 5 years earlier she was smoking hot, but she was already hitting the wall. You could tell she was living a hard partying life style.

I just remember looking at her thinking to myself, why the hell would she waste her life in this dump? Its too late for her now as she was already on the decline, but she could have easily made some rich shmuck a great trophy wife, or had little problems hooking a normal guy and she could have had a great life just based on her looks alone. I was totally confused…I had been in a lot of bars and usually the rough bars like that had a male bartender or a rough looking 40 something year old skank. Anyways…I hand her the delivery slip and ask her to sign for it, and she says I can’t sign…hold on a second…and she turns around and yells “Hey mom, can you come sign for this?”

Her mom walks out of the back office…I almost laughed out loud. The mom was also a blond…one of those ones you looked at and thought damn, she must have been f~~~ing hot when she was 18-20…but now…ughh… she definitely hit the wall hard. She was probably 45ish, looked about 60, bags under her eyes, haggard, wrinkly, worn out look…just a mess. It all made perfect sense to me why the younger girl was throwing her life and looks away living a dead end thug lifestyle in a s~~~ hole trash bar…its what she learned from other women in her life. Its a pretty safe bet gold diggers learn the same way.
