Alright, so I was planning to join the Army (hence my name), but that didn’t really work out due to a medical condition (the condition wouldn’t have affected my ability to serve in the slightest), so I’m a little bummed about that (I wanted to be a Green Beret). I did some asking, and it looks like none of the other branches of the military will be willing to waiver me, so my next plan is going to be to try to become a cop (I’d still rather join any branch of the military if possible). Of course, I understand that I’ll be “supporting the system”, but hey, someone has to keep crime in check. I would rather be homeless than be a crappy cop, and I’d rather be honestly married than be a dirty cop (that should tell you something about my desire to NOT be a bad guy), and I’m pretty sure that most of you guys will admit that America sorely needs some good police officers.

Do any of you guys have any experience and/or tips? I’m planning on going to college before trying to get a job as a cop, and as you can guess by my aforementioned aspirations, I’ll probably be trying to become a SWAT team member, and maybe even doing higher level work in the government. I’ll be going for a degree in international affairs or the like.

Also, just out of curiosity, does anyone know if my MGTOW membership would show up on a detailed background check and/or affect my chances of doing high level government work? We’re a pretty controversial group, and I’m wondering if it would be too paranoid to be concerned over the possibility of discrimination…

Just a misogynist virgin hiding away in his mother's basement. Nothing to see here...

Not an opinion of someone with exact knowledge on your situation. But I’m pretty sure you’ll be good. I don’t think the kind of stuff they’d be looking for would be MGTOW, especially in a branch of the gov. with the least emphasis on social justice. And MGTOW isn’t even that well know or is it synonymous with hatred like feminism.

I don’t want to make you more paranoid. It depends on your country, but for safety regulations set by the government (counter terrorism etc) most data is stored by providers (mostly only metadata on the long term). Your IP would show up having connected to MGTOW servers. I firmly believe the NSA / CIA can retrieve anything you ever posted or searched online in recent years.

I would recommend wiping all information from your forum posts that could fit your profile or identify you as a person. I’m pretty sure MGTOW opinions will not fall good in the Police Force.

A deep background check will probably include your social media usage / contents and Internet behavior, at least that’s what they do in my country. Not sure about yours. Best is to watch your back on the Internet and post as little revealing s~~~ as possible.

    Fire service or paramedic?

As a cop you will be told who to arrest.

You can’t mgtow out of dragging a guy out of his home if the bitch wants it.

Then you gotta look at him and say…

“Sorry man … it’s the law … I’m just following orders”

If you’re mgow of mind heart and soul … that job will rip you apart.

As cynical as this sounds, I’d say just don’t become a cop. It’s too easy these days for something to be blown out of proportion, and for all the SJWs to start shouting black lives matter, racism, police brutality. Of course I know 99% of cops are good guys, but the media doesn’t. They need a story that sells. So you work 10 years as a cop, and then one day someone says racist.

Now, even without evidence, you’re fired just so your department can save face. F~~~ that. It’s your job to wade knee dip in the s~~~ of society, and nobody seems to f~~~ing appreciate it. My brother’s a cop, and despite being only a few years older than me, he’s already got gray hairs popping up.

Feminism is a movement where opinions are presented as facts and emotions are presented as evidence.

I think if you make the decision, you had better be damn sure this is something you want to do rather than a mere alternative to military service. Some of the cons have already been mentioned, but I can think of two others. According to a cop I know, you will have to deal with corruption of other cops, and you will be tempted to become corrupt yourself. He says it is very easy and you need to have a strong personal code or something to resist it. Another more obvious thing is that you are risking your life. In my conversation with the man, he showed me his scar on his calf caused by a bullet that went through it. The only reason he was still alive is because the suspect that shot 14 bullets at him was high and only managed to score one shot despite being at a relatively short distance.

    I totally agree with silvertone….

Becoming an enforcer for the femcentric regime is NOT a good idea for a MGTOW.

    – you´ll have to enforce unfair laws against men
    – you´ll be putting your life on the line for the mistakes of stupid hoes
    – some c~~~ might even try to murder you and gets off scott free, (see forum a few pages back!!)
    – ever heard hysterical women talking with cops?

If you are well on your way to become a MGTOW, that s~~~ WILL break you sooner or later and you can´t put your good conscience or private opinion over the law, so you can´t even help or make much of a difference…

No disrespect to anyone already in the field, but going into it already knowing what you know… seems like a very bad decision to me.

    best wishes, i would´ve written more but i´m in a hurry….

EDIT: Also, i´m a man. I can take care of myself and so can thousands of others, you´ll be the public servant who gets to deal with women and manginas 95% of the time, because they´re the ones who need the big bad man with a gun sent from the government to help them with their helplessness….

give us liberty, or give us death!

I would be VERY careful OP. The Police of this nation are trained to kill Americans.

Well, if you follow MGTO philosophy, then Military Service would be completely out of the question. Becoming a cop would also be a bit of a pickle at times if you have any sense of sovereignty, mostly that of others. If you agree with 100% of the laws and strict enforcement of them wherever you will be working it would be of some help in regards to your sovereignty. But you would be denying others of their sovereignty at times regardless, basically you would be a monkey wrench to MGTOW. If that is ok with you then go for it. To clarify this, MGTOW would be a philosophy that would be against the criminalization of many things that should be SOVEREIGN personal choices, in which the government should have no hand in. Many drugs laws, if not all would fall under this category.

Why serve the country that aims to exploit and destroy you?

I studied and graduated with a criminal justice degree. To put this very, very briefly the American law enforcement system is largely a corporately funded business that has a higher prisoner population than china.

My personal reason why I never became a cop was a simple one. I looked around me and realized that there was nothing worth protecting. This was not an easy decision. I spent a lot of hours in study for my degree. I had 2-3 a day workouts. Practiced my shooting skills, etc. But like I said before I looked around me one day, and realized there was nothing worth protecting or serving.
