Gladiator 2 Sequel Finally In The Works

It’s taken a good 18 years since the Russell Crowe movie The Gladiator came out and was a major hit, but now they’re finally going to make its sequel. This time around, they’re going to center the movie around the kid from the original, Lucius, the nephew of the emperor.

Too bad they killed off Maximus in the original, because I thought he was a real man and real fighter in the arena.

Loved the fist movie. Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix were great. Not sure this sequel will be very good, but I’ll certainly watch it.

Definitely. Loved that movie. They could easily make a sequel the way it ended.

With all the main plot charters killed off, except 2 how would a sequel work. A movie leading into Gladiator might be interesting with the story of the guy who had the ceremonial wooden sword, been to long forgot the names of the charters.

One of the best things about Master and Commander?

Virtually the only lady in it (apart from the ships) was a pretty hooker who briefly tried to tempt Cpt Lucky Jack with her gaze, from a local trade boat below. He allowed himself a brief moment of contemplation then got on with the job of being the captain.

Excellent film for men.
