They don’t show the full encounter, but it looks like some version of self-defense. I see two women throwing themselves at this guy and getting sandwiched, before the guy runs off. Nothing to see here… I hope the police recognize that although they already overplayed their hand in their name-calling announcement, they sound just like clickbait. And I had to sit through makeup commercial after makeup commercial just to see this video… which shows you this is a theatric production aimed at a particular audience.

We all know that some women feel entitled to hit a man but think HE HAS TO RESTRAIN HIMSELF from hitting back. Because “you dont hit a woman”.
That is their ideia of equality, be entitled to everything that used to be for men only, yet retain all the privileges of being considered the weaker sex (but without ever admitting to being weaker).
The problem is that what used to be “for men only” was predicated of physics, psychology and biology, not “patriarchal repression”. Therefore most women cannot win a fair fight with most men.

Yet society as a whole practices this blatant gynocentric double standard and the media is happy to twist facts to reinforce this world view. Thus the headline wording “brutally punched” would never be applied if a woman had punched a man. According to the media, men hitting women is very bad, women hitting men is sign of progress.

This headline reminds me of a joke, from the times after 9/11 and before the “refugee” invasion problem:

A little girl is walking on central park in New York when a raging rottweiler attacks her. A courageous man steps in and kills the dog with his bare hands, suffering severe injuries in the process.
A reporter walks in and says:
– You are a hero, I can see the headlines tomorrow:”Brave american hero saves child from vicious dog”.
