it’s really not funny anymore.
Oh it gets funny again from a red pill perspective once you realize that “Jill Nickles” is going to go through the same cycle over and over until she ends up alone with 50 cats who aren’t going to change for her or anyone.
It gets especially funny again when you realize that as a Man Going Your Own Way YOU won’t ever be like “Brandon Eiler”. When some woman tells you to quit your job or leave you band or buy a bigger house or sell your motorcycle you know exactly how hard to slam the door on her ass on the way out.
Now THAT’S funny because it’s true. And believe me, when it happens to you it will be HILARIOUS.
But by the time a 100th guy does that, then please forgive me if I find it redundant.
That’s completely understandable, but sometimes redundancy is necessary.
The way I figure it, there are 3.55 billion men on this planet, and if we have to go through the same cycle 3.55 billion times with every new member to save every one of them, so be it. In the meantime I’ve learned to skim through and page over stuff I’ve seen before and don’t need to see again.
But we also have a seclude to adhere to and this isn’t our full time job – yet.
It’s probably not my place to say, but you might not want to make the forums into a job. As soon as it becomes a paying job it becomes work and work gets boring after a while. I’ve seen what happens when people try to make money off MGTOW (i.e. sandman, that AVFM twit), and it ain’t pretty. I’d hate to see that happen here.
That’s not to say that the website can’t pay for itself in some way, but breaking even is probably a good enough goal. Besides, it’s not like you need to generate some huge surplus to support some layabout wife.
Just saying.
When I first came here recently I didn’t search the archives.
For me it was months before I even noticed the forums existed. There’s a LOT in the archives to go through. I’d pick a video or audio track, drop the window into the background, and listen to it while working.

I was listening on my headset while working out 🙂 I found I got some extra aggression for the pump when listening ……. for some strange reason 🙂

They’ll do it every time!
Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
A new member can come here and ask the same question a million times and I will still have the same drive to help him, because that guy was me!!! I agree with Iliveagain that we owe it to those new members new to the manosphere to help them walk out the backdoor a new man, even if it’s for million time…………
Never lose sight of what brought you here.
There’s nothing wrong with saying the same thing again and again when it needs saying…
I feel also compelled to add (and I believe this is very important) that I have written out responses to concepts MANY times. But I don’t copy and paste it . I write it out AGAIN. And in writing it out AGAIN, I learn that I say it better than the last time. Almost like it trains me to have a BETTER understanding of it, and it continues to refine itself.
So where 5 years ago, I may have not quite known how to say it *best*, I understand something better now than then.
NAWLAT NAWALT NAWALT NAWALT. That’s all I ever heard from women. It drove me so crazy – that’s actually HOW I arrived at MGTOW. “how do I respond to NAWALT?” and now, it’s childsplay and every NAWALT I meet breaks into tears in 30 seconds.
I mention this because I often think “why am spelling it out AGAIN?” and then I realize I’m doing it for ME too.
I feel the same way about this. They say the best way to really learn something is to teach it.
I’ve gotten a pretty good understanding of MGTOW since I’ve been here the last 4 months or so, but one thing I know I lack is the quick reflex of a response to certain questions – ESPECIALLY in real life when I don’t have time to think about it before I post it on the forum. For this reason, I fully welcome redundant questions. They usually aren’t exactly the same so I have to think about how I would answer them. When I do answer them I really learn a lot about myself and the understanding I have of the subject. I also feel that I become instantly better on that topic because as soon as I’m done writing it I can think of a hundred things I could have done to write that post better. You better believe every time I answer that question again it’s going to be a hell of a lot better than the last one.

Apparently KM is part psychic b/c I really thought of that.. but knowing how front-loaded they already are, I just figured I’d use the link (whilst it was present).
On another thought, I’ve been here for a few months. And I can attest that there is truly a Libraries worth of information here (to no foreseeable end at that). In being such, I can see a new guy, most often desperate and in dire straights, wanting to walk to the front desk, and simply ask what or where something is. At that point he’s somewhat desperate to get answers to his immediate problem or question, and may not have the mental fortitude to go searching for the answer all his own. This is a beast of a site and newcomers are the way it consistently gets fed and it’s necessary existence validated.
I can definitely relate to ILiveAgains’ analogy. It may be redundant or repetitive, but it sure as hell get’s results.
Funny, isn't it? How women thrive on a mans time, attention and resources, while simultaneously telling him he isn't enough...
At least the title of the thread is true. Just swap out “wife” for “girlfriend”, and that sums up the cause of half the divorces I have seen.
Sovereignty above all else.
