Obviously there aren’t any fans of the Ghostbusters remake on this forum, but it appears there aren’t many at all.

You go girls! Girl power! Great job ruining an awesome franchise that could have been a huge reboot if done right. Hopefully it flops harder than the Fantastic Four movie that just decided to turn Johnny Storm into a black dude even though he was created and been around for over 50 years as a white guy. I don’t have a problem with female characters or non-white characters…but for f~~~s sake leave the good old stuff as it was or come up with something new…stop trying to change the classics to be more PC!

Yeah it will be. One of the most well known sci-fi franchises ever had a female lead.

Kind of funny if female Ghostbusters flops its because of sexism but other franchises did just fine with female leads. It gets worse. Sony plans to re-release the original Ghostbusters movie in theaters, then they are going to premiere this new Ghostbusters movie in theaters a few weeks afterward.

This is literally turning into a dog and pony show.

The before and after comparisons are going to be epic. Right now the original Ghostbusters is in a memory hole for some. But, this is a great way for the SJW crowd to pour salt on the wound with: “See how great that original movie was. Now, see how we remade it.”

I had been avoiding watching this trailer since I first heard about the Ghostbusters remake, but this post piqued my interest in wanting to see for myself just how bad it is.

Yep, it’s bad alright.

And not because of the female cast, but because it’s a poorly produced movie with awful comedic timing.

If the original is shown on a theater near me, I am highly tempted to go see it on the big screen. I was to young to enjoy it went it first came out. And let us be honest. The climax of that movie needs to be seen on the big screen to be appreciated.
