Crown rested their disaster of a case. Defence will not be offering any witness testimony. Ghomeshi’s team feel they have it in the bag.

Tomorrow will likely be a wrap. Crown will present final arguments first and defence will follow. Judge is likely to reserve judgement for a couple of weeks.

Ghomeshi has a spring in his step and a very faint smile on his face.

The fact that the defense doesn’t see the need to call any witnesses is telling. Of course, the prosecution’s witnesses were so awful that they acted as defense witnesses!

In a just world, the three women would be arrested on perjury and conspiracy charges, the prosecution team would be fired, and whoever made the decision to bring this farce to trial fired too.

None of that will happen naturally as pussy passes will be handed out like candy on Halloween. I’ll also bet you a dollar to a doughnut hole that these ‘victims’ will be making rounds on the talk show circuit, writing op-ed pieces, and making blog posts about how the system “failed” them and how “Listen And Believe” should replace “Innocent Until Proven Guilty”.

If you don’t believe me, remember that that satanic c~~~ Hilary Clinton has made “Listen And Believe” one of her campaign planks.

Most news articles I have read are reporting from the point of view that he is guilty and the reasons he gets off are the injustice. It doesn’t matter that these women are liars, if a guilty man gets off, patriarchy and corruption.
