Germany, Italy Refuse To Join Syria Airstrikes

There are at least two European nations which remember that when it gets cold in the winter, there is one country they call on to provide the natural gas they need for heating. One is Germany.

The other country, which moments after Germany said would not participate any Syrian strikes, said it took would refuse to participate in any military action against Russia Assad, was Italy:

ITALY WILL NOT TAKE PART IN ANY MILITARY ACTION IN SYRIA

    However, just like Germany…

ITALY WOULD PROVIDE LOGISTICAL SUPPORT TO ALLIES

I’m glad cooler heads have prevailed. Trump also said that he won’t specify when the attack will be and I quote: ‘could be very soon or not so soon at all.’

He obviously retracted his hawkish stance after a lot of us were p~~~ed that we’re getting involved in Syria again especially right when he said that we’ll leave the s~~~ hole once and for all. Of course what Trump says and what (((The Deep State))) desires are two completely different things. Trump is a puppet and he will do what he’s told.

Keep in mind Turkey is a NATO member. Part of the Turkish military is in Syria. What if there was a false flag of the UK, US, or French forces attacking Turkey’s forces. And Turkey demanded NATO protection.

NATO nations members could literally divide and go to war each other, similar to what lead to World War I.

Trump is a puppet and he will do what he’s told.

Except when he doesn’t, like when it comes to tariffs, immigration, regulations….

    Ok. Then do it.

The French already have their troops stationed in Manbij, which is the next target for the Turkish military so things are escalating pretty quickly at the moment. American bases and supplies have also increased in that area and the Turks see that as an act of hostility since it provides protection to the PKK. We’ve literally handed Turkey to Russia thanks to Trumps foreign policy of ‘getting along with everyone’.

Anything Trump says is true only lasts until the next twitter post comes out.

The EU have their own problems – Germany’s Merkel is in a coalition that may not last and this puts their army up against Russia. Does she really want her gas cut off?

Italy’s anti-war Five Star just keep getting huge votes and a war would put them in power-sharing mode to form the next government later this year.

Plus there is no guarantee what the embedded islamists will do in the EU if things get out of control in Syria – again. They may take this as a sign their scheme is working and start a friendly jihad in Sweden or etc.

No. The deep state handed Turkey to Russia in July 2016 when they attempted and failed in organizing a coup against Turkish President Erdogan.

There will definitely be a price to pay on giving up cheap Russian gas over some man child who tweets and acts like politics is some high school charade. You’re right about the last bit — a weakened Syrian government gives the islamists the upper hand and further disrupts the migrant crises which the Turks leverage at will to cause chaos in the EU. It’ at a worst time too because we have to decide now will we have to give up our alliance with the Kurds for Turkey or continue Trumps genius foreign policy where we all get screwed instead.

All in all, the war is not popular anywhere among the European populace except the (((The Deep State))).

Half of America hates Trump and the other half voted him in because he was not pro-war like the others so it would be dumb for him to make a move now. I wager he’s going to wait until re-election then he’s going to f~~~ us all over.

True, there was the coup, and Putin did tip Erdo about it.

What the hell are you talking about? Sure most Americans don’t want any more war, and Trump promised to get us out, but so did Clinton. Trump most certainly didn’t win over voters because of an anti-war stance.

    Ok. Then do it.

I agree. This is likely posturing and distraction while he does damage control after having his rights violated by Mueller from Monday’s raids of his former attorney.

So did Hillary? The f~~~ing c~~~ wanted no-fly zones all over Syria which would lead to a war with Russia. She was calling for it out in the open or have you forgotten? And you’re deluding yourself if you think Trump didn’t win because of that since that was one of his biggest campaign promises. I think you need to rewatch the presidential election.

So how about now then with the build up of American forces and sup[plies to Kurdish held areas? Does this go to Trump or (((Deep State)))? If it’s one of the two then we can agree he’s either a puppet or a buffoon for worsening relations with Turkey.

You said something very important here. Yes the migrants now are coming through Libya and across the Mediterranean but the real flood from Africa and most of the jihadists will be through Turkey if Erdogan sees no future with the EU.

Erdogan is a terrorist in his own right and still hoping to become part of that EU bloc because the Turkish Lira is f~~~ed and he needs a bailout. He thinks nothing of opening up the floodgates if he sees the EU more of a threat than a saviour.

He will play all sides to the hilt. He is complete filth. Nothing is certain.

    It was her exit strategy.

It was a promise for sure. He stated that ISIS would be eliminated and then we’d get out. But it was not the biggest point, far from the biggest reason why he won votes.

    Ok. Then do it.

    but so did Clinton

My friend Narwhal is evidently smoking some great weed or shooting up some smack. Apparently he has forgotten that it was Hillary that claimed “cyber attacks” were an act of war committed by Russia. IT was Hillary who would (had she been elected) have already had us at war with Russia. Let us recall—the democrats/socialists LOVED the old soviet union because it was…communist. Democrats HATE the Russia of today; why? Simple Its largely Caucasian, Christian, somewhat capitalistic and definitely nationalistic…all qualities detested by left-wing democrats. So yes Hillary wanted war with Russia at any cost, and had she been elected we would be at war right now.

So no Clinton didn’t promise to get us out of anything. She is the hand-maiden of the war party. Wake up man.

    I wish.

I honestly never paid much attention to what she said, as she was never a valid consideration for me regardless of any position she claimed to have. So sure, I’m wrong on that. Regardless, the point was that Trump winning the election wasn’t primarily because of an anti-war stance.

    Ok. Then do it.

So how about now then with the build up of American forces and sup[plies to Kurdish held areas?

The U.S. has a very ugly history of the Kurdish people where the Kurdish people helped the U.S. and then were abandoned by the U.S. to be killed by tyrants. Started in the U.S.-Gulf War of early the 1990’s where the Kurds helped the U.S. in the war. But, after surrendering Saddam was allowed to keep his military helicopters which he used to killed several thousand Kurds in Iraq.

Then, the Kurds helped the U.S. in the Iraq invasion, only to be later attacked by ISIS.

It is likely President Trump wanted to support probably the only people in the Middle East that has not stabbed the U.S. in the back in the hopes of using this as a springboard for future diplomatic efforts.

Have you seen the Lira now? $1 is worth $4.11 Lira. Turkey is on its way to become the next Greece, and as a Greek, I do not wish that on anybody. Turks are getting anxious with the build up of PKK on their borders and if they’re denied to seize the norther part(s) of Syria for themselves the migrant crises will get a lot worse and it will start with Greece since we house so many of them and have no idea what to even do with them.

They got Afrin because they made a deal with the Russians but Manbij is largely US controlled and they can’t step in without permission which they’re itching to do badly at this point.
