Been a long time since I translated German, but the basic gist I get is:

We are a small but dangerous group of misguided bitter men.

One of the threatening aspects of Red Pill is the fact that we don’t openly declare our beliefs and we don’t meet in public, so no one knows who or how many we are.

It obviously also makes it hard for our enemies to attack us if we are ghosts in the machine.

The fact that there are no hard and fast rules also seems to disturb the author as MGTOW can mean anything to any member.

We are portrayed as being not only against female power, but also the society that has created that female power.

It’s not easy to write a response to #MGTOW’s March 8 article.

Not only because, due to the lack of journalistic distance, it is difficult to see what is now the view of the author and what is the view of the forum members described, but also because it touches so many different points in the coexistence of man and woman. It is also difficult to write because I do not in the least share the premise of the text, which is Europe’s main social conflict line between man and woman. Dealing with someone who thinks you are an enemy, even though you are not hostile to him at first, is always a spicy thing.

I first understood how much I love men and how much I feel with them when I became a feminist, and understood that the relationship between man and woman as he was – and still is – the men he empowers , at the same time injured and injured.

The forums are full of memes about “worn out” vaginas and “disgusting images” of vulgar allegedly promiscuous women, because physical virginity defines a woman’s value. Other perennial favorites are evolutionary theories about why women should be “acquired” as early as possible, sometimes even before puberty, why they are not naturally loyal and therefore necessarily have to go alien. Do you still think that the new conservative man can rise from this foundation?
Spiritual journey to no man’s land

By the way, the followers of Red Pill and MGTOW seldom get an answer as to how they would actually imagine a prosperous coexistence of man and woman. If you listen to the absolute extremists, then the answer is: State allocation of wives and concentration camps for girls. A member of this group shot dead seven people in Isla Vista in 2014, including themselves. All this under “do not love” and as a justified response of the “slaughter cattle” (his words, not mine) is already a strong piece. For my part, I would not dream of treating apologists for feminists who propagate hatred of men.

But even the alleged silent majority of MGTOW followers, long since overshadowed by this level of hatred for women, is basing their thinking on the assumption that women systematically target them and that it is not worth the effort to get involved. I just do not understand how anyone should help, especially the men. How to make custody disputes fairer, how to promote physical and mental health of men, and how to prevent workplace accidents by keeping men away from women? How exactly does the celibate man improve his situation? Or did he just give up? Does the author really think that the movement would eventually become so big that the women would have no choice but to follow the men into the desert?

I also believe that our society desperately needs a positive image of men in which men are strong, loving and respecting themselves, and where there are real alternatives to measuring one’s self-esteem in the “possession” of a woman , If that really was the result of MGTOW, I would welcome it.

But since even the pensive Going Monk supporters allegedly have to wade through the deep, gloomy valley of conspiratorial hatred of women, I would be rather skeptical. How should something ever develop out of the hatred of others? How should men whose whole life plan is based on what women are not all to find a positive self-image? I think that is a mistake.

Maybe one should start with this already and put in a helpful message to reduce the alarmingly high suicide rate in men: men who are desperate, depressed, injured and at the end of your power! We love you and you do not always have to be strong, rational and angry. If your soul hurts, get spiritual and medical help and not the advice of desperate men on reddit.

Under the acronym MGTOW is forming a rapidly growing group of men who radically withdraw from dealing with women. What are the reasons and what are the consequences, especially for Catholics?

The essential social line of conflict in Europe today is neither between classes nor nations nor ethnicities, and not even between religions – it runs between man and woman.

Here the future of Europe is destroyed or fought for. This most political place of the present is at the same time the most unpolitical: for a policy in the sense of raising opposing interests in a higher, better way simply does not take place. There is only one position in this place: that of the woman.

The woman and the political and metaphysical implications of her sex have won. The rest is clearing the battlefield and here and there a little last butchery. The day belongs to the capitulators and the Fledders. How total victory is can be seen from the fact that the vanquished feel the victory as their own, as a good and necessary thing to which they gladly fit. They do not even know what happened to them. Napoleon’s strategy of conquering his opponent’s cannons and turning them over to them was not necessary: ​​they only had to convince their gunners that they themselves were the enemy, and then the work was done by itself.

The necessary, natural, God-given and indissoluble tension between man and woman has been ended, just as this period of basic time ends confrontations: not by repudiation, but by an academic-political-media decree. Of course, the tension is not gone, because its reason is ongoing – it seeks its way and it finds it.

Where women call in the midst of the general landslide of civilization which they have wrought and wanted, which they call progress, “But that leads a little too far!”, Men have only one choice: to slip and fall asleep – or get off.

The process of getting out has since about 2015 a name: MGTOW, speak migtau, the acronym for “men going their own way”.

From the desperate decades-long struggle of men’s rights ac- tivities (MRAs) for the recognition of at least the simplest forms of social decency for men, the recognition of the total uselessness of these efforts resulted. The basic assumption of the MRA that the emancipation of women is a rational, reasonably accessible process whose fault can be pointed out and corrected was so obviously wrong that men began to systematize their concrete experiences and an evidence-based, functionalist collection of generalizations they call “red pill philosophy” (RPP).

If you expect a philosophy of German Façon, you will be disappointed. It is rather a broad and unsystematic collection of lessons, episodes and facts on the behavior of women and men in modern society. The RPP has nothing to do with the theorizing of misogynists like Schopenhauer or Weininger, but it is a formulated reality for men in the 21st century, enabling them to understand and shape themselves and their situation without any intermediate step.

For the most frightening thing for any man, after he has swallowed the “red pill”, is the speechlessness of his situation: the cold astonishment at how much unsaid remains in this perennially time-wasting time, as long as it concerns only the man; how much every word of this culture is a silence on the lot and position of men, how this time robs men of their first ability to even see what they are and where they stand. MGTOW is the end of this speechlessness.

And that Speech is not nice. It is not pleasing, not cultivated, not balancing. It’s vulgar, angry, ruthless. What should one expect? The man is the slaughter-cattle of the modern age, and when he sees his chains, he grunts, and to laugh at that is the privilege of the female slaughterhouse owners. The MGTOW men talk about “sluts” and worse, and you should not love that – but should you blame it? At a time when there is no word that would be too brutal and too vulgar, if only against men? That’s what the “men are pigs” women want – and whether they said it, laughed at it or did not at least vehemently disagree with it (and did not argue) – so what? I think it would be better if they did not do it.

The modern man does not realize his own existence, but that of his wife.

The state, society and media have radically sided with one side. Every man’s crime is considered a reproach against the whole sex – no woman can do anything that speaks against “the woman”, that would be sexism and may be justiciable. That men and women are equal in the world of work is a dogma – that more than 90% of all serious and fatal accidents at work strike men is not mentioned further. In Germany, around 8,000 men kill each year – that’s 80% of suicides. Many of them are after divorce and separation from the children – this is not the topic, instead passive smoking, pay gap and particulate matter. Every obvious blunder is a publicly celebrated triumph when it benefits women.

All social instruments – state, parties, research, media, families – that had long had to counteract here, have failed and will continue to fail. And there are very solid reasons to assume that this is not just a “too late” situation, but that this failure is a symptom of a much deeper decline.

MGTOW makes neither social nor political demands. MGTOW does not require women to change their behavior, on the contrary: their behavior is seen as part of a necessary and unstoppable process that one can not design, one can only elude. MGTOW’s analyzes go far beyond what feminism or men’s lawyers do. Without ever claiming to be consistent, MGTOW men decipher more social and individual contexts more meaningfully than any other contemporary political theory. MGTOW works. It is thus twofold, once the clarifying and systematizing conversation between men in a new own communication space, which itself could be called MGTOW, and the resulting individual attitude. Most MGTOW already have this attitude before they encounter MGTOW – that’s why the group is growing so fast. Men do not have to be “convinced” by MGTOW – they have already had the experience and understand it better by participating in MGTOW. Therefore MGTOW is not a movement: MGTOW does not try to influence society by massaging “members”.

In Japan, millions of men live as “herbivores” who refuse any dealings with women, most of whom are highly successful in their professional lives. In the US, about 500,000 men now define themselves as MGTOW. How big the group is in Germany, it is difficult to say, because the MGTOW language is English, the number of German MGTOW are about 50,000, if you look at the click behavior on MGTOW channels. However, it is not the absolute numbers that are important, but their development: and that is breathtakingly fast.

Since MGTOW has no teaching, there are no “stages” of development. The process described by MGTOW usually begins with the swallowing of the “red pill” of working with the RPP. Above all, the men recognize two things here: that their individual observations are generalizable and that they are not temporary problems, but fundamental and insoluble in the present constellation.

This results in a phase of anger and depression in which many MGTOWs get stuck and embitter. These are the “purples”, who usually appear strongly misogynistic and critical of feminism, in the hope that somewhere there would have to be a change possible. Many of the “purples” are more prone to male rights activists but do not share their optimism. They usually spin in a circle for a long time.

So far, the “pump and dump” group has been by far the largest MGTOW group. It’s getting smaller since #metoo. The MGTOW men in this group use the RPP. Often they leave toxic relationships and focus on “self-realization”, i.e. On education and work and career, many start a completely new life and change physically and mentally strong. This group continues to deal with women, albeit to a very limited extent, but above all uses women to satisfy their sexuality. These MGTOW men sleep with women, but increasingly lose their relationships. The “pump and dump” group is to be distinguished from the so-called pick-up artists, who are only inverted male prostitutes from MGTOW’s point of view. Because women “doxing” men who profess frankly to MGTOW, i.e. publicly exposing and prosecuting, almost all MGTOW anonymously. As MGTOW become more attractive to women through their self-realization and apparent reluctance, there are a plethora of delicious reports from men about how women behave when their “normal” advertising processes no longer work.

Nevertheless, this group is in serious danger, since at the latest since #metoo every male behavior can be interpreted as rape or sexual coercion and is punished massively to total social annihilation. Since MGTOW constantly reflects these changes openly, the men react accordingly quickly and purposefully.

The fastest growing is the “going monk” group. These men no longer engage in sexual relations with women and increasingly avoid any social interaction with them. Part of it is radicalizing around the “NoFap” group, which does not originally belong to MGTOW, and also avoids pornography and masturbation. My personal estimate is that currently about 1/3 of the MGTOW is in this group and that the proportion will double within one year. The future of MGTOW will be decided in this group. These men are the most productive and consistent in terms of RPP development. As the monks group will behave after the introduction of the so-called “FemBots” called gynoids, which is expected for the coming 10 to 20 years, one will have to wait.

Finally, there is the small group of “ghosts”. These are MGTOW men who go “off grid”. They are convinced that the decline in the relationship between the sexes is only an expression of a profound systemic crisis. These men go their own way. Of course, little can be said about them because they no longer participate in normal MGTOW communication. They are often found in the field of Alt Tech.

The reaction of the public, the feminists and the men’s rights activists on MGTOW is the same: MGTOW men are “gay”, have “little dicks”, are “disturbed”, are “selfish”, are “cowardly” and should just look like men behavior. Of course, the MGTOW men are all fatigued, unsuccessful in life, have not gotten hold of and live with Mama in the basement. Of course, MGTOW men do not deliver personnel papers at MGTOW headquarters that could be checked – but it quickly becomes clear to the observer that the proportion of successful men in this area is surprisingly high.

Above all, MGTOW is an oral process. Written – apart from sometimes very detailed comments and individual reddit forums – is little. There are hardly any newsletters, pamphlets or manifestos. The MGTOW men communicate through podcasts and YouTube movies through Skype discussion boards that are recorded and shared. It is a widely branched medial system of corresponding tubes – MGTOW men also speak of “going down the rabbit hole”. And indeed, it’s really a fun trip that takes you to the most unlikely places and finds the most incredible conversations. It is often young MGTOW, the much older men, mostly after divorces back on the “partnership market” on the road and completely horrified to enlighten their situation. White and black Suprematists can be heard speaking peacefully about the behavior of women in their communities. Various basic philosophical attitudes are tested at a surprisingly high level with regard to MGTOW. Many of the Americans are libertarians, and turning away from the state is much easier. They are not dominant.

To get an overview, you have to listen to hundreds of hours of podcasts. Where do the men take the time for? Guess! It is quite amazing how much freedom men suddenly have when they no longer spend their time on women.

But perhaps this process is simply not relevant to Catholics? Do not we have a clear dogmatism regarding the relationship between men and women? Are not Catholic women immune to the temptations of the feminist world?

Above all, Catholic women in the modern age are first and foremost modern women and behave by no means differently than non-Catholic women. Above all, Catholic men are largely left by their church and their communities in the choice of their partners: the question of the virtue of a woman with whom a man living his faith is to spend his entire life is a taboo. Whoever sets them is a first-degree thrower, which, in addition to the Pharisee and the sexist, is the worst thing a Catholic man can be today. The devil himself would be respected in the Church today if he understood women, empowering them and expressing them “without prejudice,” where “prejudiced” means the prejudice that is acceptable to women, while “prejudicial” is that judgment, that is not acceptable to them. Illegitimate pregnant Catholics experience exactly the same preferential treatment as Heidinnen (female pagan) do, a priesthood socialized in the circle of priests beckons with anxiety and an army of unmarried parish clerks explains them to secular saints to whom every Catholic man has to sacrifice his fortune – because that is exactly what these women think is his luck.

But it is true that Catholic MGTOW men have a different perspective than others: they have a millennia-old tradition of inner-worldly chastity that they can overreach. You do not have to fall for the sentimental nonsense of “white knighting” to have a historically proven notion of chivalry. And they can confidently entrust their fate to their Lord, in whose hand they are more secure than even the ward officers in those of their tax-subsidized diocese.

Of course, the public, who firmly believes that we live in a patriarchy, that predominantly women are victims of this society and that there is a pay gap of 20%, a policy that does this for itself, a research that confirms this and a media world that would suddenly lose the few turnovers that it still makes, would they portray MGTOW as unscientific, selfish, and perversion. MGTOW is none of this: that’s just the core of MGTOW. Any man who in the present situation trusts his prejudices, strengthened by experience, proves a healthy instinct. This could be the surest guide to his recovery as a Catholic and a man.
