C&C and C&C Red Alert were awesome. I heard they were good with the Tiberium Sun series, but they have definitely ruined the Red Alert spin-off by turning it into a circus bizarre. Good memories.
But I’m really wondered how they were obsessed with the Soviet threat. Sci-fi books, video games, movies. And even today some guys are reasoning about Russian invasion. Aftermath 🙂

Red Alert 1 was my favorite of the ones you listed. RA2 was pretty funky, but in the end too cheesy for me. RA3 I’ve never really played, but it looked even cheesier to me.

A really cool game is called is called blitzkrieg fall of the reich . A cool pc game with lots of others made . If you liked command on conquer you will drool at this series of games

I’ve tried to play RA3 a couple of years ago and it’s been deleted once the first mission was complete. I would not pay even a coin for such game. It’s the good side of piracy you may do not pay for the crap.
If you did not play the Battlezone you may try it – an old but an atmospheric game. Today such quality games are rare.

Blade, you have triggered remembrances about an old Russian-made game. I’m not afraid of the word – “masterpiece” for Russian game development industry!
I bet this was the progenitor of all Blitzkriegs and Sudden Strikes. Craters, dead bodies and destroyed vechicles stay on the map. You can’t penetrate a Tiger tank in the front plate just so easy. But you can damage caterpillars of any tracked vehicles, ammunitions are limited. And all of that in 1997!
