    Boomers.
    Millennials.
    Generation Z.

Gen-X always seems forgotten and never discussed.

Came across this ladies blog with interesting links to a variety of Gen-X topics.
I chose to post the blog instead of all the links, that way it’s centralized and you can follow if you want.
    Or skip.

If religion turns you off, she does end each article with that topic BUT she compartmentalizes it and once it appears you can stop reading.

I was really surprised she addressed this topic about Gen-X men dying younger than expected.
    http://www.jenx67.com/2015/11/why-are-generation-x-men-dying.html

The data was fascinating. Gen-X is outnumbered by boomers and millenials by about 30 million. Wow.
Will we ever have a moment in the sun or will our parents just promote their grandkids past us…..

Abortion and it’s effects on Gen-X:

Please add links to similar topics.
Especially male related, I want to read more on this topic.

    Thanks bros!

Being Generation X is like being a baseball umpire. You are never noticed until you aren’t doing your job or do something wrong. I’m very much OK when nobody notices me.

Oh, they remember us when they “need” something!

OR: if you refuse to provide demanded goods and services.

With all of the finger-pointing between Boomers, Millennials, and whatever follows (Gen Y?), I’m ok with being left out of the discussion. While the younger generations are complaining about how Boomers (allegedly) ruined everything for them, they forget that Gen X was the first generation to be hit hard by increasing rates of divorce among our parents and the rise of single-parent households (we’re called the “latchkey generation” for a reason…). We, too, got reamed by the 2008 recession; it’s not just the youngsters who were hurt. We’re also the first generation in recent history that is, on average, worse off than our parents in net worth (and according to some studies, in salary as well — though this is debated).

I’ll say this, though: if I had the choice to grow up with any generation I wanted, I wouldn’t pick any other… the last generation that didn’t have cops in every school (despite the fact that school shootings have DECREASED in frequency since the 1990s), the last one that didn’t grow up with iPads, iPods, ubiquitous cell phones…

The data was fascinating. Gen-X is outnumbered by boomers and millenials by about 30 million.

That is because the boomers aborted/murdered over half the Gen X population and then the boomers showed when majority rule is so damaging by making sure they kept all the wealth while shifting all the burdens, debts, price increases, and at the destroying educational opportunities, the job market, salaries, and medical services onto Gen X.

In addition, while boomers arranged for Gen X to struggle through life, boomers spoiled millenials.

I am tail end Gen X, I have been f~~~ed over in life by so many people. One of the main reasons that keep me living is I finally survived to see the collapse of western civilization.

While there are other reasons, the main reason I hope President Trump is elected to a second term is for all those scumbags out there who screwed me and the rest of my generation over go completely, foaming at the mouth, rabid mad.

And that looks like it is going to happen, unless the anti-americans destroy the U.S. government first in their obsession to remove President Trump.

44 here. Also GenX. I’ve noticed this as well for a while. Stardusk has commented on it as well. We are the new forgotten generation. Though as WPL points out this may not be entirely bad. Side note; from my observation the men of our generation are coping with getting older and being effectively forgotten far better than the women. I always say; there is a lot to be said for growing old gracefully…

Early gen x here, born in ’68. Yep, boomers murdered half of us but still expected us to foot 100% of the bill for their taxes social security. OTOH, I’m such a typical x’er nihilist that I don’t give a f~~~…I will drink a nice bottle of bourbon while I watch humanity go down in flames. If you want to save the world, stomp a hippie.

I hope to avoid this of course.

But I also hope to roast marshmallows over the ruins these MF’s have left us with!!!!

My Trump vote was an anti-Hillary vote last time. In 2020 my Trump vote will be 100% spite-vote.

I’m 59, tail end of boombers, beginning of gen X. Am I wrong or weren’t the gen X’ers the same as the yuppies. As a person raised in between that’s what it seemed like for me. Hence the hippie hating.

We can’t put 100% of the blame for murdering half of Gen-X on the boomers alone, “the silent generation” was participating as well. Being a Reagan kid as it were, I was both a yuppie and a partying nihilist at the same time. Now I’ve left corporate, and I’m red pilled to the point of being something completely different. I realize that now my only comment to 99% of society is “I am not your kind”.

    Nice article Harper.

“With the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of Soviet Communism, there was also less of a sense of urgency in political activism. The generation that head-banged to Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” had yet to fear the existential crises of climate change and increasingly common mass shootings that now face the current teenagers of Generation Z.”

Except I disagree with this part. I heard about Global Warming all the time. I heard about mass shootings all the time.
I think the reason Gen-X isn’t chomping at the bit, is our BS detector has always been better than the Millennials and Get-Z.
Growing up in Boomer households all we got was BS and smoke and mirrors.

Poor Millennials and Gen-Z charge head first into the fray spouting propaganda and exit wondering why they have a headache……

Gen-X sits on the curb drinking a beer and chuckling…..saw that coming…….
