The funny thing is that to the modern liberal Queer = Cool, while MGTOW = Sad loser who is into dangerous right wing thought.

Its a lot easier to be gay and attracts a lot less shame. If you want an easy life for not chasing pussy women tell them you prefer men, then if anyone hates on you, you can get them brought to “justice” for a hate crime, while hating MGTOW is a form of virtue signalling to the establishment and they will praise it not sanction it.

In my early years I entirely ignored women and all female advances. The general verdict was that I was queer. It did hurt, I remember because it completely misunderstood me. I knew I was then too low status to attract anything but a fugley or a normal woman who would give me a quick turn on her well used pussy. Something inside me was repulsed by the idea of joining the beta queue for a turn on the pussy. I kept entirely male company and aside from massive sexual frustration (which in retrospect I should probably have taken out on whores) I had a very good life indeed. So yeah, I have been there, even read graffiti to the effect that I was a homosexual. It was still easier than being an out of the closet MGTOW.

It isn’t a “big deal” for the majority of humanity (IMHO), just an extremely small minority of “people” on either side of the fence demanding that it be an issue.
Having said that there are large segments of humanity outside of the “western world” who would beg to differ with that opinion rather violently. Rather than focusing on that, the alphabet community tries to brainwash everyone into thinking that the “persecution” happens here.

I have never heard any of my “gay” friends/acquaintances ever ask each other “what? are you straight or something?” Nor shaming each others’ sexuality because they find certain aspects of other humans unattractive.
