In Canada, they dropped the word “boy”. It’s called “Scouts”.

Having a boys only organization for young male development was oppressive and sexist towards young females; therefore, it became co-ed in 1998. The same has not happened to Girl Guides.

Really?  Do you think being around gay people makes one gay?  Either one enjoys the fishy hole or they like to swallow the sausage, they like both, or they’re asexual.

I do think private entities should be allowed to discriminate as they see fit — e.g. religious entities for which homosexuality is against their faith, should be allowed to fire someone for it.

I’m not seeing how gay men or women are more prone to pedophilia, and in fact, the evidence isn’t there for it.  I’ve only known one pedophile, he had a straight marriage.  He drove the Church kids’ group bus and got into trouble with a young boy…. Much of it has to do with access as opposed to gender. Men typically have access to boys, not young girls.

As for rubbing two sticks, if anybody, hetero or homo is teaching young kids something age inappropriate they should be fired.

I don’t have an issue with gay scout leaders.  I have a problem with pedophile scout leaders.  It’s not the same thing.

Gay scout leaders like little boys. Even though being a f~~get and being a pedophile is not exactly the same thing,they are similar enough. For instance some boy scouts are 17 years old (I was 17 when I earned the Eagle Scout Rank) and look like adults which is tempting for a gay scoutmaster. This is why Im opposed to tolerating gay scoutmasters.
