While the technology is cool i do not need a f~~~ing robotic wife. Even talking to women is bad enough but at least they have c~~~s and you can go over their heads, so it is somewhat bearable but a robot that does nothing but turn on the lights and talk is useless.

I can turn on the lights with my phone if i buy some gadget and get a app for it.

That is a legitimate concern. If I wasn’t so careful of my privacy and didn’t possess a burning hatred of the system, then I suppose I’d get one of these.

If I want voice control systems I would create my own, you can get open source voice recognition software, use it with a raspberry pi or old computer system, that way you have full control over what is done with any data, voice recording etc.. I got a google home for Christmas but I unplugged it as I did not like the idea of a third party internet connected device constantly listening to me.

That is freaking sad. I actually have several echo’s, controls lights and such, but have no desire for a hologram or any kind of fake girlfriend like that. The last thing I want is to half to tell a computer that I’m on my way home.
