so i went to my lawyer ,
and was told how many ways i can still be screwed over,
by my ex who started the divorce,
but hasn’t pursued it.
i stand to lose it all.
i live on the whim of the ex.
she can destroy me with a call to her lawyer.

i had a plan,
and my lawyer punched a few holes in it for me yesterday.
Goddamn it.
the entire system is against men.
like solving a rubick’s cube from hell,
each way i turn it there’s another way i can be f~~~ed,
so even though it’s worth the money to find out where i stand,
i found out i’m standing on quicksand.

i can’t go in to a lot of detail,
but i am NOT quitting my strategy to win in this,
it’s just going to be more sleepless nights,
evaluating each option and weighing out possible outcomes.

I dragged things out hoping to preserve my kids right to have me in their life. After $300,000 and 6 or so years of constant fighting, the c~~~ finally poisoned my kids against me and one daughter told me off on the same afternoon as I got the child support adjustment with retroactive payments that rendered me homeless for the spring and summer last year. So that didn’t work. The c~~~ and the court raped me over 6 years, more than 250 court appearances, trials and follow up procedures all designed to punish me for s~~~ I didn’t do.

Maybe the better thing is to give her absolutely everything you own…and I mean everything. Contest nothing. Give the jacket and tie you wear to court. f~~~, give her more than she is demanding. When you have to go back and pick up your stuff, don’t. Leave it all for her to deal with. Part of the price of f~~~ing you over. There is nothing for you there anyways. It is contaminated, you look at it and it reminds you of her. In exchange, she never bothers you ever again, no contact, restraining orders, harassment charges ready to go. Court judgment is final, here is the line and no one crosses it. Start over from nothing. Buy the s~~~tiest car possible, move a couple states away so she can’t just pull you in to court every week, lose a good paying job and get a basic survival job, go deep into debt, live in a s~~~ hole and pray the c~~~ doesn’t come after you again. If you have nothing, she can’t take anything. Be a poison pill. get a new cell phone, get a mailbox address. disappear as best as you can. no f~~~book, no dating sites, no pictures of you on the internet. Do not ever go to the town she lives in ever. No contact, no explanation, no phone calls, get a new email. You do not want a harassment beef. You need something from her? do it through the lawyer.

Remember, your ability to rebuild is limitless, but you have to do it strategically. My rebuild starts in 3 years. Figure out when your rebuilding time is. Until then, embrace the suck.

Got kids Hitman? Not any more, they are lost to you. You will never see then again at some point, do you want a couple years of good times, then a stab in the back, or do you want to cut them loose early and move on. Either way, you will be leaving flesh on the hook. I stayed in for my kids in the hope I could influence their upbringing. I went from stay at home dad for 9 years to 4 days a month, then 2 days, then a couple phone calls a month, a couple texts and then told to f~~~ off. I rented 2 and 3 bedroom apts, had kid bedroom stuff, toys, took them to activities, museums, shows. Lots of expenses I really couldn’t afford, but did it to make my kids better people later in life because the c~~~ was not around to do that cool fun stuff.

Lots of hard choices to make, lucky for you, you have this forum to ask questions and see how we did with the decisions we made.

FWIW I don’t think it matters what you do, you gotta live with the decisions you make. The system is gonna f~~~ you hard no matter what. I can suppress my own rage for so long, then the night falls and all bets are off. I went through lots of sleepless what if nights. F~~~.

i’ve been helping a pal going through a divorce..
today he was helping me with good advice.
this thing aint over.
i will not stop.
i have some more angles to play,

My advice as your attorney would be to drink heavily and ingest some psychedelic substances go out to the desert clear your head. Then come back sell every single thing that is still both of your property by sailboat and disappear:) Barring that, you’re f~~~ed.

i was falsely arrested,
pulled through court,
had to pay legal fee’s,
pushed 20k in to debt,
slowly worked off over half the debt.
..trying to square it all up,
and my lawyer tells it like it is,
i am still vulnerable to the ex’s whims..
SO, i have some maneuvering to do to protect myself.
i developed a plan of action,
and learned there were a couple more things i now have to do.
just a big f~~~ing headache.
my divorce has been at a standstill for over 4 years.
i want to end it,
but without losing what i have.

just going to take more time than i thought.
