Whatever you do, Joller please don’t do anything crazy, man. A few years ago I was in a somewhat similar situation. Life just totally sucked, so I do know what that is like. I know it may be hard to believe that everything is just temporary (even one’s “downfalls”) but do try your best to take it straight from me:

Life simply cannot always only go downhill…! No it can’t, sir!

Today I am honestly sooooo glad that I back then didn’t to anything crazy to myself, but I hung in there and meanwhile I can almost laugh about the very state that I was in then.

You got all of your supportive bros right in here. Try not to forget that…

    All the very very best…!

    Ned

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. Back to the plantation..? Me..? Hey, literally: I won't ever fucking kid myself...YZERLMNTSIC

    Hello Joller,

I don’t know your situation but as simple as this sounds get out for some walks or even in the car if you have one.

If I stay around my apartment too long I kinda get cabin fever, listless and overthink things. If I get outside even for just a walk I feel so much better.

Some of my best days are when I just take off in the car and head out into the country, grab a bowl of soup and bread at my favourite country pub and go walkabout. When I get back to the apartment I’m then in a much better place.

It’s all about looking after YOU and what that takes to make YOU feel better.

I hope you feel better soon.

I don’t know if this helps but I find that the older that I get, the lower are my expectations of life. I think much of the disappointment we experience stems from unrealistic expectations, especially WRT relations~~~s.

If you’re not in excruciating physical pain and you’re not currently starving or freezing to death then anything else is just gravy…

Joller, the truth is: we are the last true men on this s~~~hole that we want to turn into some kind of paradise. The few last that have the b~~~~ to see life for what is is, society for what it is, humans for what they are.

We have the most giant b~~~~, because everything is rigged against us, yet here we are, studying, working, writing, living. Mind this important thing, the desperation that you feel now, will fade away, it is a mental state in which most if not all of us have lived to a certain degree. I thought that I could not endure many things in life, and guess what? I endured ’em all, and I still do, no man will take me down, no woman will take me down, I will not f~~~ing kill myself because I do not want to give up at life, there is too much to learn, discover, experience, change.

Joller, do not give up, take the best out of this life.

I really appreciate your words brothers and it does mean a lot. I was pretty wasted last night and went into one (I’m a little embarrassed). I hadn’t drank for a little while and that hit me pretty hard. A bout of depression coupled with a work life dealing with far too many c~~~s and family issues right now have ground me down. Reflecting on 16 years of relationships and a lot of wasted time didn’t help.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply to me and I’ve read all of your words.

I’ve got a sore head and I need some coffee. I also need to see a dentist.

Life does suck in this gynocentrical society and i’m very glad i have this site and your wise words.

    Thanks Brothers

Make sure you drink a lot of water your head is dehydrated because your body was shifting all that water to your kidneys. Seriously dude drink water today and don’t take anything personally I know that’s a hard pill to swallow but it’s really not about you it’s more about what everybody else is into not you. Maybe you just have a bout of sadness? When you stick around here for a while it can get to be a bit much but just be patient because good things will come to you who knows maybe you’ll get another career where you don’t have to be around all those women teachers. Just remember if you really needed one of us we are around especially old guys like me they’re retired

I’ve had bouts of depression throughout my 20’s and I’ve been very flat lately. almost numb. My current profession brings me into contact with some crazy c~~~s and it’s grating on me to the point I struggle to function knowing I have to go through another day of it. Thanks Dave.

Glad your alright Joller, take yourself a mini vacation if possible. Do a little exercising, it takes the tension out of your body. I drink beer on most nights and I can attest that after a few it starts to bring me down and gets me in a depressed state. Take it easy man, time heals all things.

    I’m f~~~ing worn out fellas.

I’m tired of my job. I’m sick of everything.

I drink I don’t drink it’s all s~~~. 32 years old and I’ve f~~~ed it. Relationship after relationship and this is what I have left. Too much time wasted on too many people.

I cannot stand to be around any woman but I can barely tolerate myself right now. My life has been turned on its head. What a load of s~~~.

Nobody’s supposed to see this and I’m in trouble.

Be careful of the beer man it makes you feel worse after a few and it is a slipepry slope.

3 or 4 pints is enough to take the edge off on a friday or saturday.

    don’t drink every day.

If you do have no more than 3 or 4 units.

1 pint of 5% lager is about 3units

Reflecting on 16 years of relationships and a lot of wasted time didn’t help.

All of us wasted time, energies, money, whatever! it is what young people do, stop focusing on the past or you’ll go crazy, and I tell you that because I almost f~~~ed up completely my life by focusing on my past. Live in the now, the past is called like that because it is gone, would you spend all your time focusing on something that you cannot change? focus on what you can change, today, focus on the fact that what you change and what you do today will help the you of tomorrow, you’ll be grateful to yourself.

Take care of yourself Joller, we all have highs and lows, my life can be an empty void at times, being on this site fills that gap and reading topics like yours recharges my batteries knowing that other brothers are going through similar experiences and marching on anyway when the going gets tough.
