    Hi Everyone

Been lurking on these forums for the past couple months and while I don’t tend to post a lot, much of what has been put on here has been really helpful in reminding me of what is truly important.  I managed to dodge the marriage and relations~~~ b.s. a few months ago after a four year relationship.  Let’s just say things did not work out, she wasn’t going to change, and while I brought a lot to the relationship in the end I decided there was no benefits for me.  No kids fortunately… that would have been a nightmare.

Anyways I just want to say thanks to the MGTOW community, it is a blessing to know that there are lots of like minded individuals… and a red-pill a day does seem to keep one focused.

I have attached a link to a book written by Harry Browne… it was written in the 1970’s but I think a lot of you may be able to get some good info from it.  It’s called “How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World” and after browsing it last night it almost seems like a MGTOW Manual.  He has a section on relationships and some fairly solid advice on why one should not get married.  Even mentions the term “going your own way”.  He does seem to think that relationships can be okay and has some advice on how one might be able to make it work… but it was written in the 70’s.  Certainly think that most of his ideas would be shot down by the modern day woman.  Relationships are only about 10% of the book… lots of good info for going your own way in this world.

Glad to hear you didn’t step on any of those landmines before figuring it out bro. Post more of your thoughts. The more info we have on display, the more knowledge can be gained from it and the more thoughts it can provoke. I’ll have to take a peek at your source.

Welcome! And thanks for the book tip. I’ve read the prologue, and it looks like this book is a great read.

It is one of the best books I’ve ever come across. It’s also listed as suggested reading somewhere on this site.
