I was watching the live feed from France. In particular the speech Macron is making is deeply disturbing–not because of the pablum he is uttering, (like “nationalism is a threat to the country”…yeah figure that out) but rather the crowd is waving the flag of the EU.

Apparently there are some French who hate their country, and culture and wish to commit national suicide. Despite being German I have great affection for the country of France, its culture and people and It would break my heart to see them go down the drain. Why? because Germany will not be far behind. The French deserve our prayers.

I think a French politician who wants Frexit coming in second right after Brexit happened sends a strong enough message to the EU.

I think however this plays out now the damage is done to the EU and it’s just a matter of time now. The EU is dying.

I am also German and I totally get your point. France, as well as Britain’s, are cultural and historical our brothers and seeing them going down hurts. France is far worse off than Germany. They have this immigrant problems for three generations now and there are areas in any major city one can only describe as war zones. Germany is just starting to develop this in Northrine-Westphalia and what’s going on there is already pretty messed up. But what France is put thru is much, much worse.

I think this elections sends a very clear message. People are fed up with the current politics, no matter if they are on the left or right side of the political spectrum and more people are pushed to either side. The “moderate politic” of former governments gave us this situation, now they have a result and they don’t like it. I definitely do like it!
All I hope is the French example will have an impact on the German election in this years autumn and Merkel is send to a hopefully very unpleasant place. I imagine her somewhere in northern Siberia, cutting wood with all her Muslim friends she invited to Europe. Crazy bitch.

The EU would have been fine if it just stuck to trade agreements. The problem is that it’s being used to turn Europe into a super state by stealth.

That and the complete failure to deal with the migrant problem. They can give aid to 14 migrants in their own region for the price that it costs to settle 1 in Europe. The maths just doesn’t add up and it’s just encouraging more to flood into Europe.

I’m no expert, but I read that France had a brutal and protracted war of independence in Algeria. When they withdrew, a lot of the Algerians who were by now consummed by hatred for the French, emmigrated to live in the country of their oppressors. I think there’s a lot of enduring resentment amoung the former French colonial Muslims against everything France stands for. It’s been a war of revenge building up since the 1950’s.

Now they got the manpower to get some Payback I guess.

    And they’re gonna’ use it.

By the way, anybody else here like the French TV Show Spiral (Engrenages)?

It’s happening in the U.S., too. Many Hispanics come here to ‘take back their country’, as they put it. They’re p~~~ed at losing the Mexican American War, and they’ve come to take revenge, it seems. They have a palpable disdain for whites, blacks, and Orientals alike. It’s very prevalent in schools all across the U.S. Ask any teacher. I think whatever happens in France will be a harbinger of things to come for the rest of the western world..feminism be damned.

I remember all the hype during the reunification of Germany. Will France really leave NATO, and so what if they do?

Apparently they’re not fed up enough. Le Pen should have won a landslide victory. Why didn’t she???
