That forum post has only a few comments. It will get som traffic because of the link in the Fox News article, so I’m going to that post and will add a comment with a link to this page, which has changed my mindset from Tradcon to MGTOW.
Since there are many a Tradcon men reading Fox News articles, maybe a few will click on my link and read the page.
I might save a few lives in the process. Who knows? Worth a try at least.

It is a bit disconcerting that they label us an ‘extremist’ group. I’m sure that is deliberate as it conjures a very negative image in the public consciousness. I fear as more media coverage comes the more we will see them laying the foundation for a witch hunt in the coming years.

Perhaps we may one day see an article along the lines of:
“NSA tasked with identifying members of extremist hate group, MGTOW. A radicalized offshoot of the men’s rights movement these men advocate abuse of women and the destruction of society.”

I’ll say this again for one more thread. We are being defined as extreme and alt-right when we are not. Next we’ll be Nazi’s. It’s classic Trump branding. Lyin’ Ted, Little Marco, Crooked Hillary, Alt-Right MGTOW. Keep saying it over and over and eventually it doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. FOX News is branding us as extreme and alt-right when we are neither. We will end up as a hate group that must be hunted down and shut down.

Control the definition and you control the narrative. It won’t matter how much sense we make. After all, how can an extremist alt-right group be right?

All the more reason to be careful what you say. The targets are on our backs. We can be doxed at any time. All it takes is someone hacking the site, tracking emails to various accounts and then working through there. Uly doxed Dennis B without even having to do half of that. And all it takes is Pistol Pete giving the zoom link to a troll lmao.

MGTOW are not “a branch of the men’s rights movement”.

MGTOW are as much a repudiation of the men’s rights movement as we are a repudiation of feminism.

As has been stated before by many members “Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat” and other social media tools are dangerous for members because they are static and are indeed open to the public. That’s what public facing sites do to encourage other users to log on to find “friends and families”.

Leaving these sites up is a very bad idea for anyone trying to live the MGTOW lifestyle and not being stalked or discovered by others. Downloads can be made and taken out of context by anyone for any motive.

Having someone with the abilities of Uly looking for your online information is very bad, as he has some very serious intelligence gathering skills and abilities. This does not mean however that someone with motive, time on their hands and access to the internet could not do the same. He was able however to accomplish it likcety split.

While there is some liability using web conferencing applications, they are minimized, still present, but minimized by the fact that they are dynamic. They are not public facing, the access information is changed with each session, administrative functions and access are extremely limited to a very few people. These sessions are managed from the aspect of having attendees vetted by existing members.

Is there a chance that anyone using any SocialMedia tool can be tracked down and identified. Absolutely, Uly is not the only person with his skill set. Is there a chance that anyone will be able to document forum posts on MGTOW.com, absolutely. The Fox article is proof positive of that.

Members can do two things, 1) use caution in what personal information you disclose on MGTOW and 2) decide if your use of MGTOW.com, web conferencing tools or other social media applications is worth the inherent risk of discovery.

Not mentioned in the above post are the occasions when members meet face to face in cities to meet and greet. Potentially very dangerous if not coordinated properly.

To set the record straight, there have been three Zoom Video Conference sessions that had attendees log in that used “user names” that no MGTOW member was familiar with. All were removed from the session in a quick fashion and did not come back. Users are encouraged to use their MGTOW.com avatar name.

Since the sessions were expanded to three day events, there have been no reported instances of “Inappropriate” members trying to log into Zoom Sessions. All members are alerted to the fact that their participation on anything besides MGTOW.com forums in strictly voluntary and any associated issues that come of participation are a result for the individual to resolve.

The advertising of the session link by Pistol Pete was immediately caught by Travis3000 and KM removed the thread within 20 minutes. In the meantime a substitute session ID was created and forwarded to those MGTOW.com members who normally took part in Zoom Sessions.

Is there a danger, absolutely, but with risk management you can mitigate that risk. The choice comes down to what is the value of MGTOW.com to each and every member. Some members ghost and are always in receive only mode, while some are not and are active on forums, video creation etc.

Engage is safety and prudence as you go your own way, but remember that it is your decision to be MGTOW.

And like cpig said we have not broken any laws by walking away. And if they did pass some stupid laws it would be comical watching them try to enforce them.
