    Dear KM and co.

    Good morning.

I imagine all the great features on this website started with some form of brainstorming and there are many ideas that were left unimplemented or deemed unnecessary.

I would like to add one such idea to your brainstorm ideas for future consideration-

A settings buttons next to Latest Topics | Most Popular | With Most Replies | With No Replies | Settings, to filter the parent forum categories (for example: Dating & Online Dating or Political Corner or Litter Box) would help members see posts more relevant to them.

For times when I want to escape the constant gynocentric news/political snippets I could de-select Political Corner and get only non-political stuff to read. Only alternative now is to individually visit each forum section and read posts there.

I honestly don’t know what utility it may have in practicality or how much work its for you guys. Perhaps it could be filed away and at some point implemented if necessary.

Thanks for helping us all communicate and make it such a warm and welcoming community.

First sip of coffee in the morning and fast loading of webpages on this website feel equally good.

Another idea would be to add a button to view “Last Updated”, so people can view the most recently updated thread. I realize recent post/replies are displayed on the top of the website, but there is no way to scroll through them at your own pace and browse the parent thread.

Like iLearn said, I’m thankful for all that is being done, and it has been done well. There are a number of places for men going their own way to go online, but this place has got to be the best.

Thank you for asking. We actually did this two weeks ago and spoke about it here in a thread just recently and it slowed the forums down big time.. I will try and explain in simple term, and not bore the s~~~ out of you with the answer.

You know the “recent replies” in the rotator at the top?…… Well, we wanted make those replies to be relevant to whatever forum you are in ….. so if you’re in central, you will see the “central” image background, and the most recent replies in central only. Move to the litter box, and you will see the “kitten” background and the latest litterbox replies.

We did it and it worked. Just one problem. it slowed s~~~ down big time. It’s also why we removed the “LAST 10 / LAST 100” to the forums index instead of the top of every single page. It’s like telling the database to get

    1. 20 most recent replies.
    2. 10 Latest topics,
    3. 10 latest replies
    4. Then get everything else on top of that

When getting “latest replies” you ALSO have to get the last topics responded to ……….in a single forum only……….. FIRST.

    …. on every page view.

It’s demanding. So we pull that for the moment, because “get the latest replies” also needs to make sure it doesn’t display private forums replies. ANOTHER level of complexity. So I assure you we are working something out. We also mentioned that the replies rotator at the top is BETTER to show most recent replies everywhere….. because it would jump you around to other forums.

We’re working something out, but trust us on the priorities. We removed searching the other day because some f~~~ing piece of s~~~ vandal tried to exploit it. So there is other s~~~ to adjust right now. But thank you for leaving your requests. It’s not a full time job for us here, so we have to get to it as soon as we can.

    Thank you!

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

    Thanks for the reply KM.

I know we are far far away from the day you guys would get to kick back-feet on the desk- and marvel at the creation mgtow dot com is. And the day we reach 500, 000 membership.

For the time being it’s a lot of work and it shows.

I appreciate your quick feedback. And keeping this website running.

    Cheers
