Chick was making a million a year for 3-4 years and only working about 20 days a year. Partying with famous people, living the life. Partying all her money away.

The story doesn’t address why she doesn’t have any money today, but let me take a stab at it. She thought the money would come in for a lot longer than it did, but the wall came for her faster than she imagined. Once she was introduced to the wall all of the rich men that she knew moved on to younger women and left her behind. She over estimated how long her looks would carry her through life.

Not sure why this is news, but here’s a reminder that a beautiful woman dies twice, and they all overestimate how long their looks will carry them.

Now, think about this. Let’s suppose there is a white-knight out there that was willing to date her, take her in, and provide a life for her. Say a guy making $100k-$200k. It probably still wouldn’t be good enough because it could never compare to the life style she once had.
