Forged in Fire -blue pill edition

Usually there are blue pills everywhere. But some are so blatantly blue pill that a comical level is achieved.
Its the situation on “Forged in Fire”, season 5, ep.91. A guy called “Doug Loving” enters with a blue t-shirt. You cannot make this up…

His opening statement was:”My have 4 kids, 14, 13, 3 and 1″.
Quick math reveals he has married a divorcee with two kids, and the 3 & 1 are his own.
Then the masterpiece: “My wife says, you can go to forged and fire, but you better make sure that you bring back some money.”

He is not kidding – I think – he has a scared look in his eyes.

And as to confirm my thinking he says:”winning for me means that I can go home…”

Again, he is not kidding.

In the middle of it he starts feeling ill, maybe the stress of pleasing the wife was getting to him. In the end he is eliminated at the first round for not meeting the parameters. I guess he had some explaining to do back home…

A literal blue pill, a slave that needs permissions to do everything, and everything he does must benefit the master.

I watched a few episodes of that. At first, it was great.

Then I really got tired of the absolute weirdness of the people forging and a few of the judges too.

We’re talking Geek Barometer Levels that eclipse Lord of the Rings fandom, table-top RPG players and worse… LOL.

And that Asian dude who always says, “…it will cut!” I just wanted to beat his ass every time.
I promise, Im not an alpha Jock type guy who is too macho for some nerdy stuff, not at all. But the poeple on that show are fvcking weird bro, like those hillbilly Alaskan people. We’re talking inbred fvcking hicks.
