Minor G1-class geomagnetic storms are underway today, Oct. 25th, in response to a stream of solar wind buffeting our planet’s magnetic field. So far the action is restricted to polar regions. However, NOAA forecasters say there is a chance the storm will intensify to G2-class as Earth moves deeper into the stream. If so, auroras could descend into northern-tier US states along a line from Maine to Washington.

Cool! I’m heading to Vermont this week, I’ll bring my camera and stay overnight! Seeing the northern lights is spectacular! Last time I saw it was well below zero and I came in FROZEN!

Does anyone know where I can get a hit of acid?

Thanks for the heads up, literally.

I will keep a look out to the northwoods. I will take pictures if I have any activity and will share them here.

    Thanks Men!
That website is pretty cool imo. The homepage refreshes with updates as they come in. Tis one of my daily sites I visit. Love it!
