Do you guys nerd out on the unicorns presented to us? I DO.

Im not ashamed to admit it. A lot of why I watch anime/play games is to escape reality. And a lot of that has to do with the perception of the unicorn we are given in our media. The Mary sue. I realize most mgtow will see this as a call back to the plantation, something to be avoided, but to me its healthy. Rey in the new star wars would be a fine example. Charming, imperfect, yet badass. Im enamored. Yet I know it does not represent reality.

Is it wrong? I can differentiate between fantasy and reality but should I even give my fantasies the time of day? This is a question as a mgtow that has always plagued me

I could give a damn if im popular here. Ive been lurking since before most of you even knew what mgtow was. Just curious about the obvious nerd sect that comes thru.

I guess im a lone wolf on this, but i can still watch hollywood s~~~/play games and not put on my mgtow goggles. Maybe thats just the millennial in me

As a person who can differentiate between fantasy and reality, is this a problem? Do you guys think this is a form of “going back to the plantation”?

The reason i made this thread is because i notice a lot of people here say to avoid ALL media with even the slightest hint of “anti-“male” propaganda.

The fact that you guys call tuna every time you see something you dont agree with immediately is disturbing. Ive watched this trend get worse and worse every year.

Are you meaning if we get in love with fictional characters? like those crazy people who get in love with my little pony and f~~~ up their looks because they are mental and our society says that it is OK to be mental?

If that is your question then you are losing the touch with reality bro, I mean, enjoy whatever you like to. But(and this is a big but), escaping reality will turn you into a mental weirdo. I’ve seen it in many people, not only with videogames and fictional characters(there are even great books about this, check out The history of the valorous and wittie Knight-Errant Don-Quixote of the Mancha), but with mathematics, and other stuff too. Even philosphers went totally crazy by closing themselves up in their minds. Keep in touch with reality more, until there are matrix-like simulations where you can just live another fake life(if that is what you want).
