For the leaders

This is something that I think the ‘leaders’ of MGTOW might appreciate. I know there are no leaders and what I mean by the term is the ones helping everyone else here. It’s what was said from the ‘The Division’ trailer and I think it applies here more than we think.

“It’s hard to watch something you love destroy itself, to see it fall apart.

Disaster always feels so distant, detached, someone else’s struggle in some far-away place.

It’s not until it’s in our city at our doors that we realise how fragile we are, all of us, all of this.

The real truth is, no one watched, no one saw; wanted to see.

Tragedy is invisible; people turn away from it, they run away from it if they can.

And it’s hard knowing that you belong here, that your purpose lies amongst all this pain.

But someone’s got to be there. To pick it up, to push back.

But the first piece back together put us all back together.”

 

Thank you for being the first ones to push back and the ones to put the pieces back together. I wish I were as eloquent as this trailer. Thank you for being here.

Going your own way involves a severe lack of leaders.

So there’s that or we all are leaders …. in which case … give yourself some kudos 😆

You’re right, ILiveAgain. Let me restate then; that quote is for everyone going their own way, for everyone to remember to stand tall and not give up. I know in my own case I’ll be coming back to it a lot when I lose my step or falter. Thanks for the support.
