Under laws coming into force today, anyone who inflicts psychological cruelty on their other halves can be prosecuted – even if there is no direct physical harm.
For the first time, domestic abusers who stop short of lashing out at their victims will be targeted with a new offence where there is evidence of ‘coercive and controlling behaviour’.
Don’t even look at her or you’ll go to jail. One word and you’re toast. That’s gonna help the falling rates of marriages, I’m sure. I can hear ’em crashing through the floor.
It’s also going to bring more revenues for the courts on the backs of Men. You hear the lawyers crying? I don’t.

Why would anyone, in their right mind, want to get married after this? A woman can easily lie that she has been abused, now that she doesn’t even have to show any bruises anymore. All she needs to do, is go to the police and cry that she has been abused. And knowing how mentally unstable women are, lots of them probably feel ‘abused’ all the time for no valid reason at all.

Marriage is for gays and women. It’s not for conservative, straight men anymore.

Anyone who allows themselves to the threatened or pushed into a position like this, has no right to justice or freedom. Freedom is not free it has to be earned and paid for, giving into threats and intimidation make one unworthy of freedom or justice. There are victims then there are complete cowards where freedom is within their grasp yet they are too cowardly to reach for it. There exists multiple paths too freedom in the first world if these inept f~~~s can’t reach for one I say let nature take its course.
Not to mention that this law is extremely ambiguous and would more likely than artificially produce criminals.

That is the exact point of laws such as these, ambiguous and far-reaching for the express purpose of characterizing any and all domestic act as “violent” and “not appropriate” so as to easily turn Men into offenders and then physically and effectively chain them to be subservient the System as convicts then parolees then ex-cons for the majority of the rest of their lives.

I have had girlfriends who emotionally terrorized and one even threw a remote control at my head when she tried to “emotionally bully” me and I LAUGHED. Thankfully she missed. So I didn’t “bully” her….. I just took her purse and threw it FAR into the street. When she ran out screaming after it (and they always do), I bolted the door behind her and didn’t even mail her her shoes.

This law will have way more frivolous cases then genuine where actual harm (emotional or otherwise) is prevented. If a woman won’t simply leave the situation, why we should be willing to collect evidence and report it to the police?

I do find it interesting that when a woman takes this option and puts a man behind bars, she is also cutting off her child support income.
