    Are You Happy?
    No. Sometimes, yes.

    What Makes You Happy?

Not knowing the answer why. Sounds so simplistic. But its the magic of being alive and not being able to explain it.

I think you could call it the wonder to life.

Its like trying to explain your favourite color to a blind person that has never “seen” a color before or why you like its hue.

Many try to explain things as simple mechanisms and I am sure it really is just a very practical wiring and engierning of our bodies. Science in the future may indeed produce or have crafted an explanation to all things one day. Knowing that it will never be enough? That is what truly makes me happy.

I find that if you strive to live each day to its fullest – happiness takes care of itself.

And yet, doing nothing at all can produce the same results. 🙂

How about satisfied and content with my life?
I think that defines happiness to me.

“Comfortable” is a synonym for “dead.”
It means your brain is unplugged and you are not being challenged.
It is an antithesis to life.

Being ‘comfortable’ is enough and it’s what works for me! True happiness is an unrealistic, overly optimistic expectation. If I’m not starving, freezing or in constant pain that is about as ‘happy’ as I will get. And reference “challenge”, I find that just surviving is more than enough of a challenge for me…

Look at it from the other end of the telescope. Most men are happy by default. What makes me happy is the absence of things that make me unhappy.

I agree with this to a point. While I am content and at peace with the absence of unhappy things, there are also things that can make me happy. This weekend I went to visit and an old friend and we went riding around the countryside on back roads in this old truck he recently bought. I’ve known this guy since the first grade and at one point this feeling of happiness came over me due to nostalgic reasons, but also because this is a guy who I can always get along with. We always have a good time together whether we’re fishing, or hiking around through the woods, or, just driving around like we were doing. His wife says, “You guys always take off and leave me here at home, blah, blah……”. Yeah, because it’s always nice to get away from your big mouth complaining all the time. Typical woman always bitching about something. When we left, she was complaining about the cat meowing.

So yeah, getting away from women sure makes me happy.

The evil in women’s hearts leaves them no moral bounds as to inhibit them from descending to the lowest levels of darkness to acquire their self entitled desires.

I am content. Seeing my son makes me happy. I only see him like 10 days a year. The rest of the time I try to get in a stress free careless life as possible. I can spend hours enjoying a good movie. I have no external controls on what movie I watch or when I watch it. I can even pause the movie and post on mgtow.com for a while like I’m doing now.

My first wife had serious depression. It was hard to ever be happy around her because she got jealous of my happiness.

Thank god I am not still married to that situation.

Yes, being single makes me happier.

    No fukking kidding.

Its why God made Eve last. No one bitching in his ear while He was working. Adam was around and saying “wonderful!” “thats great!” “thats awesome!” Having a fukking woman around, ‘why isn’t it like this?” “nice, but wouldn’t it be better if,…” “i don’t get it”… “are you done yet?” and other complaining bullshiite.

Remember woman was made from a man’s rib. Not the brain. Not the heart. You might think ass because of the smartmouth, or the pain in the, but from one of many, ribs.

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

A lot of concepts and overthinking going on here.

My Golden Retriever reminds me of what happy is all the time.

Happiness depends on ones definition of the word/state of mind. Each person will have a different “understanding” of that state of mind/word.
Despite my nickname, I am generally “happy go lucky” type of person for the most part.
I am mostly content with everything up until the moment some “expert” (/sarc) opines on what is better for me, how to do anything that they have no real experience in doing themselves, how I should live, or that I “need” to do anything for the sole benefit of others at the detriment to myself while they themselves do nothing but expect the load (financial/emotional/physical) to be my burden.

I am content with my life, sometimes I am more than content, sometimes not so much. That is just the way it is and will always be until the day I die. Then I probably wont give a rats ass about anything (based on what I think I know about death), and I am content with that too.

There was a time in my life when I gave a fuck. Now you have to pay ME for it

My wife and I have recently separated, so I am sad that I don’t have someone to share nice times with. I am also sad because she seems intent on destroying her life and I just have to sit back and watch.

So while at the moment I am not happy, it is so peaceful here. It’s amazing how an individuals presence alone can bring such heaviness to the atmosphere. I feel as if the air in here is easier to breathe, it’s so peaceful.

And that also makes me sad. That she is carrying around such heaviness. It will pass.
